The Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals Program (STEP) is a (12-Month) dynamic, intensive rotational program designed to educate, train, and develop skills in emerging professionals and help establish your career. You will get hands on experience in every aspect of our business through on-the-job, e-learning, subject matter expert training, and residency trips. This rotational program includes exposure to site and corporate operations, sales strategies, processes, procurement, project management, E-Commerce, and the Sonepar USA and our Operating Companies&rsquo; business philosophy. At the conclusion of this dynamic program, you will have the opportunity to present to our Executive Leadership team on key strategic organizational initiatives.

Location &ndash; this role can be located at our Oceanside, CA or Fullerton, CA location. 
Salary &ndash; This role is exempt and will pay an annual base salary of $68,640.00 - $70,304.00.

Lead Inside Sales Representative

Perform open purchase order follow-up with suppliers to manage delivery expectations</li><li>
Maintain Eclipse purchase order expected dates per current vendor data including changes transmitted electronically via Vendor Managed Inventory, Electronic Data Interchange 855 PO Acknowledgement Review Queue, website, or email</li><li>
Assist in weekly FUR (Follow Up Report) for key customer</li><li>
Coordinate with purchasing team, sourcing alternatives when existing partner stocked items are unavailable</li><li>
Manage item substitutes in Eclipse, prioritizing existing products within inventory from partner vendors and new alternatives as they are purchased to meet availability expectations</li><li>
Manage lead time dates and comments on customer-facing website or reports per the current procedure</li><li>
Review manual lead time settings in Eclipse per guidelines and direction from Purchasing Manager</li><li>
Assist in order entry when needed</li><li>
Coordinate incoming shipments with receiving department to ensure ample space is available, follow up on orders delivered that have not been system received within 24 hours of delivery</li><li>
Participate in various customer meetings as needed to support expediting activities</li><li>
Provide backup support to purchasing team as directed by Sales Operations Manager</li><li>
