Overview: The Pre-Press Artist ensures the layout, format, and appearance of artwork designs are within operational standards before the print run 
Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay: Based on experience.

What you'll do 
<ul><li>Prepare customer artwork for printing by reviewing spelling, type size, UPC verification, template/die lines, traps, 
overprints, text limits, line thickness, distortion, colors, bleeds, mounting marks, and registrations marks</li><li>
Preflight and prep customer artwork for digital and flexographic production</li><li>
Review job specs and customer requirements, art size, and number of colors</li><li>
Revise existing artwork as needed to meet operational standards</li><li>
Perform quality checks to ensure the artwork is accurate; matches customer requirements 
Interact with the customer service, sales, and production departments to resolve any issues or problems</li><li>
Facilitates customer press checks in a timely manner</li><li>
Maintain electronic files</li><li>
Follow established quality management system procedures</li><li>
Complete quality documents to ensure adherence to procedures 
</li><li>
Adheres to all established safety practices</li></ul>
Desired Traits/Requirements:
<ul><li>Applicants should have excellent problem solving skills.</li><li>
Applicants MUST have EXPERT level Adobe Illustrator skills and have a good working knowledge of Photoshop.</li><li>
Prepress experience required.</li><li>
Please note that this is NOT a creative position.</li><li>
We are looking for a highly intelligent individual, with strong attention to detail, who can work quickly under pressure, with the utmost accuracy.</li><li>
Our prepress department is Mac based.</li></ul>
Experience Requirements:
<ul><li>At least 2 years of Flexographic Pre-Press Artist experience required.</li></ul>
