Our team is looking for an Operations PV Manager to join them. You will report to the Director, PMO and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA .
The job purpose of the Operations PV Manager will be able to provide leadership to the Supply Chain, Planning, Operations members of the local PMO and assist the Project Manager in leading the relevant areas of the wider Integrated Project Team. To ensure excellence for all activities associated with novating a Licensors supplier demand and orderbook into Ontic. The role is responsible for transition of all associated activities of supply chain, planning and orderbook execution into Ontic, to include re-sourcing where required, establishing the initial planning requirements within the ERP system, and implementing the operational requirements to be able to execute the customer orderbook. A key requirement for this role is the planning and facilitation of the Process Validation activities through to handover to production.

<ul><li>Demonstrated experience in supply chain, planning and manufacturing / aerospace environment is desired.
</li><li>Proven experience of working directly with suppliers including negotiating pricing and lead time.
</li><li>Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills of technical issues.
</li><li>Effective and accurate use of MS Office applications and ERP systems.
</li><li>Able to produce clear, concise and accurate written and verbal communications (in English) at all levels.
</li><li>Effective listening skills.
</li><li>Confident in a fast moving and changing environment with the skill to prioritize tasks as the project or business demands.
</li><li>Willing to occasionally work outside core hours and be flexible to react to the business priorities.
</li><li>Ability to travel globally for short periods of the transition.
</li><li>Ability to make recommendations on the best way forward when there is more than one solution to the problem.
</li></ul>As an Operations PV Manager, you will:
<ul><li>Provide management leadership and guidance to both the Supply Chain, Planning, and Operations members of the local PMO team, and work closely with all members of the wider PMO team, as applicable, to follow the PMO standard processes from project kick off through PV completion and handoff to production.
</li><li>Work with all members of the Integrated Project Team identified by the local site to ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to within the applicable quality plan.
</li><li>Attend and influence regular project review meetings with the licensor and suppliers as required to assist the assigned Project Manager (PM) in developing the transfer plan for all Supply Chain activities including but not limited to Supplier Onboarding, PO Transfers, Inventory Management and initial demand Provisioning &ldquo;SIOP&rdquo; within the ERP system.
</li><li>Attend and influence regular project review meetings with the licensor as required to assist the assigned Project Manager (PM) in developing the transfer plan for all manufacturing activities including but not limited Cell layouts and facilities and Operator training requirements.
</li><li>Participate and oversee the inventory transfer (from licensor to Ontic), ensuring that transfers are prioritized to ensure that no line stoppages occur due to transfer.
</li><li>Ensure that during the transfer that CTB plans are kept up to date ensuring that any key deficiencies are clearly identified
</li><li>Support the supplier onboarding process and ensure the efficient onboarding of suppliers is completed within the project timeline.
</li><li>Understand and ensure the novated purchase orders are placed and meet where possible the global Supply Chain metrics such as OTD / OTIF &amp; PPV.
</li><li>Oversee establishment of sources of supply for components requiring transition from vertically integrated processes to purchased complete, as well as those where the incumbent supply source is unavailable.
</li><li>Participate and oversee negotiations with vendors to ensure the best possible price is paid by Ontic.
</li><li>Lead the make / buy decision making process with site manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain stakeholders.
</li><li>Ensure that technical support is allocated from both PMO and/or site technical resources early to resolve supplier quality issues.
</li><li>Ensure project demand requirements and provision material to support setting up of the production line to support customer order book LOBs / Cell MPS &amp; Schedules.
</li></ul><ul><li>Overall responsibility for ensuring facility readiness for the manufacturing Cell.
</li><li>Work with Project Manager, PMO Technical Team and the IPT to transfer and set up the manufacturing process to include equipment, tooling, TE, documentation, training, approvals, etc;
</li><li>Own the preparation and execution of the Process Validation activity working with all parties to hand over to the local site.
</li><li>Work closely with the PMO team and local site stakeholders to ensure effective departmental communication and direction is provided on the project status.
</li><li>Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a varied workload to meet deadlines.
</li><li>Early identification and resolution of supplier novation challenges and risks are documented.
</li><li>Ability to report and present to different levels of management and communicate project demand and process validation status both internally and externally with customers and vendors.
</li><li>Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work with relevant Ontic and/or supplier teams to implement effectively.
</li><li>Work closely with the PMO team and local site stakeholders to ensure quality requirements are met for the smooth stand up of products and supporting contract novation&rsquo;s &ndash; customer quality as well as product approvals
</li><li>Support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities to resolve supplier and internal technical problems.
</li><li>Attend and provide input into the Lessons Learnt process and ensure they are embedded into future transitions.
</li><li>Ensuring up to date, clear and concise metrics are kept throughout project demonstrating progress through each process step.
</li><li>Work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues, Licensors, customers, suppliers and all stakeholders and uphold the company values at all times.
