Objective: To maintain a safe environment for all guests, staff, and contractors by identifying hazards, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring strict compliance with local health and safety regulations.Core Responsibilities1. Risk Assessment &amp; Auditing<ul><li>Conduct daily walk-throughs of all hotel areas (Kitchens, Laundry, Pool, Guest Rooms, and Back-of-House).</li><li>Identify potential hazards such as slips, trips, falls, or chemical exposure.</li><li>Perform regular fire safety audits and ensure all exits and extinguishers are unobstructed and functional.</li></ul>2. Security Integration<ul><li>Collaborate with the Security team to monitor CCTV for safety breaches.</li><li>Assist in managing crowd control during large events or high-occupancy periods.</li><li>Lead the Emergency Response Team (ERT) during fire drills or medical emergencies.</li></ul>3. Training &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Organize and conduct safety induction training for all new hires.</li><li>Ensure the hotel is compliant with HACCP (Food Safety) and OSHA (Occupational Safety) standards.</li><li>Maintain updated First Aid kits and coordinate certification for &quot;First Aid Wardens&quot; across departments.</li></ul>4. Incident Management<ul><li>Investigate all workplace accidents or guest injuries.</li><li>Prepare detailed &quot;Root Cause Analysis&quot; reports and recommend corrective actions.</li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for government health and safety inspectors.</li></ul>### Requirements &amp; Skills<ul><li>Certification: NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent IOSH certification is highly preferred.</li><li>Experience: 2&ndash;4 years of safety experience, ideally within the hospitality or service industry.</li><li>Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Fire Life Safety (FLS) systems and chemical handling (MSDS).</li><li>Soft Skills: Strong &quot;firm but fair&quot; communication style&mdash;you need to be able to tell a Chef or Engineer to change their workflow for safety without causing friction.</li></ul>### Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<ul><li>Zero high-risk findings during unannounced government inspections.</li><li>100% of staff completed basic safety induction within their first week.</li><li>Reduction in &quot;Lost Time Injuries&quot; (LTI) year-over-year.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-time

We are currently looking for young, dynamic, self motivated Fitness Instructor cum Recreation supervisor for our recreation dept which included Gym, pool, kids club.As a Fitness Instructor for our recreation dept will be responsible for safe, professional, effective and quality functioning of fitness programs carried out for hotels guests and leisure club members, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:Organize and supervise regular fitness related activities and events to maximize members enjoyment / use of fitness Centre and to keep ahead with our competitionDevelop and maintain professionally safe and effective fitness procedures, programs and activities like Zumba, yoga in the fitness Centre and ensure proper fitness practice at all timesCo-ordinate the aerobics / exercise program and studio usage and continually seek ways of introducing new ideas to maximize revenuesSupervise the cleaning and maintenance of the fitness centre ensuring clear standards are always met and equipment is always in good working orderUnderstand the facilities, membership fees and coaching / massage / aerobic feesAware of the rules and regulations of the hotel and how to deal with guest applications on memberships and their processUnderstand the entire club policies in each designated area and be aware of how to operate micros computer system for the billing of all servicesAssist the Recreation Manager to achieve membership targets through &lsquo;Bodylines Marketing Plan&rsquo;.SkillsEducation, Qualifications &amp; ExperiencesYou should ideally be a well build, physically fit, trained and qualified Fitness Instructor with previous experiences, preferably within the hospitality industry. You must also have good command over English and positively contribute to sales activities thereby maximizing revenue along with the ability to solve problems effectively.
