Job overview<ul><li> 
This role is responsible for managing end to end Source to Settle activities for the assigned portfolio which primarily consists of indirect spend, such as consulting services, recruitment services, legal, finance and tax advisory services, creative agencies, media and production etc.</li><li>
This role also implies supporting Associate Director, SRM, Demand and Contract management with the activities related to:<ul><li>
Annual Group-wide supplier performance management</li><li>

Sourcing and procurement / Source to Settle:<ul><li>
Contributes into the overall Ooredoo strategic sourcing mission of the department. 
Ensures execution of savings targets and related action plans for assigned categories.</li><li>
Liaises with relevant functions to receive sourcing requests and ensures they are implemented swiftly and accurately.</li><li>
Develops sourcing strategy, secures alignment with business units and secures necessary approvals.</li><li>
Manages all up-stream activities including RFx process, vendor negotiation and contract finalization in conjunction with the superior.</li><li>
Ensures timely and accurate completion of all downstream activities i.e. validation of Purchase Requisitions and issuance of preparation of Purchase Orders.</li><li>
Ensures all activities follow the prescribed governance and maintains the highest standards of transparency and fairness.</li><li>
Manages the reporting requirement for the function and tracks compliance.</li><li>
Constantly seeks to update own knowledge and that of others within the department in relation to industry standards for Strategic Sourcing of high value products or services.</li><li>
Establishes and manages category strategies within the assigned domains</li><li>
Supports the day-to-day operations in line with the required standards of Ooredoo to deliver the highest level of service to internal customers whilst at the same time building supplier relationships to ensure that Ooredoo's suppliers become long term business partners.</li></ul></li></ul><ul><li>
Supplier performance management<ul><li>
Preparation of the data for the annual supplier performance evaluation and action planning</li><li>
Reporting and cadence management, action tracking on the supplier improvement actions</li><li>
Continuous review of the framework of SPM in the Group and identification of areas for improvement as well as action planning</li></ul></li><li>
Demand management<ul><li>
Consolidation of the demand inputs from Ooredoo entities</li><li>
Review of the submissions and analysis for potential areas of efficiency and consolidation at Group level</li></ul></li><li>

Experience<ul><li> 
5-8 years' experience in a similar role.</li><li>
Experience in a Strategic Sourcing function within an indirect spend portfolio, ideally, within a telecom organization.</li><li>
An expert at developing costing models as per the requirements and able to develop detailed commercial analysis across supplier offers.</li><li>
Adept negotiation and communication skills.</li><li>
Must have in-depth understanding of key Contractual terms and ability to successfully negotiate independently with suppliers.</li><li>
Experienced in use of various upstream and downstream procurement systems (SAP Ariba, Oracle)</li><li>

The Role

</li></ul>Key Accountabilities and Activities<ul><li> 
Understand the business requirements and perform feasibility study and provide feedback to the stakeholders with appropriate solution and recommendation with Time To Market (TTM)</li><li>
Support and coordinate with all stakeholders to align with the expected business unit requirements.</li><li>
Manage technical deliverables right from new products/services feasibility study to implementation, based on business unit's requirements.</li><li>

Convert the business requirements to functional/technical requirements to prepare feasibility study &amp; High Level Design (HLD)</li><li>
Responsible for developing cost analyses, design considerations, and implementation time-lines.</li><li>
Agree with the ADM vendor on the complexity level of the solution and expected man days.</li></ul><ul><li>
Responsible to manage relationships with ADM vendor and technology partner to align technology capabilities to support marketing/product needs</li><li>
Manage and co-ordinate the inter-departmental functionalities and communications between the Technology and Business Teams within Ooredoo Kuwait for realizing strategic service/product launches.</li><li>
Manage and drive the SLA/KPI for ADM and highlights project issues to higher management and provides recommendations for improvements</li><li>
Responsible for setting up acceptance criteria and post development/deployment check of feature/products.</li><li>
Responsible for quality check and performance KPI for delivered products to business units with supporting documents.</li><li>
Responsible for seeking approval from Design and Control (DAC) &amp; Change Approval Board for smooth deployment.</li><li>
Responsible for solution delivery timeline, performance, SLA management, and Quality control of all solution deliveries which will be covered with all testing phases until UAT and regression testing</li><li>
Discuss or Validate on the business requirement for the requested BAU's/TMO's and assign it to vendors and make sure it should be delivered as per business requirement.</li><li>
Responsible to capture Configuration Management changes and proper documentation.</li><li>

Bachelor Degree in Telecommunication/Computer/ Electronics Engineering or related discipline and appropriate registrations with recognized professional institute.</li><li>
Degree shall be duly approved by Kuwait Society of Engineers (Not required for Non-Engineers)</li><li>
Should be certified in Oracle SOA</li><li>
Trained in DevOps tools and Agile Methodologies</li><li>
Siebel certification(s)</li><li>
TOGAF or other architecture certification</li><li>
Experience with Siebel to Cloud CRM migration</li><li>
