The Site Engineer &ndash; Interior Fit-out is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and ensuring successful execution of interior fit-out projects on-site. The role requires strong technical expertise in interior finishes along with working knowledge of MEP and HVAC systems. The incumbent must be able to read, interpret, and coordinate technical drawings/designs to ensure accurate implementation and integration of services.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution &amp; Site Supervision<ul><li>Supervise daily site works for interior fit-out projects including civil, joinery, finishes, and MEP/HVAC integration.</li><li>Ensure works are executed as per approved technical drawings, specifications, and method statements.</li><li>Review and cross-check design/shop drawings to avoid discrepancies on-site.</li><li>Monitor subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship and adherence to timelines.</li><li>Coordinate with consultants, clients, and project managers for inspections, approvals, and progress updates.</li></ul>MEP &amp; HVAC Coordination<ul><li>Review and understand MEP and HVAC technical designs and shop drawings.</li><li>Coordinate interior works with MEP/HVAC services to avoid clashes and ensure seamless integration.</li><li>Inspect installation of ducts, piping, electricals, and mechanical works for compliance with design requirements.</li><li>Liaise with MEP contractors to resolve technical issues on-site.</li></ul>Planning &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and highlight risks, delays, and resource needs.</li><li>Support in material requisitions, quality inspections, and inventory control.</li><li>Ensure site documentation such as method statements, inspection requests, and as-built drawings are updated.</li></ul>Quality, Safety &amp; Compliance<ul><li>Enforce adherence to HSE standards at site and ensure safe working practices.</li><li>Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and design intent.</li><li>Ensure compliance with local authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, Civil Defense, etc.).</li></ul>Team &amp; Stakeholder Coordination<ul><li>Supervise site foremen, subcontractors, and workers, ensuring productivity and accountability.</li><li>Report site issues promptly to Project Manager and propose corrective actions.</li><li>Attend coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<ul><li>Completion of assigned project milestones within timeline and budget.</li><li>Zero major non-conformities in design or quality inspections.</li><li>Compliance with all HSE requirements on-site.</li><li>Accuracy in interpreting and applying technical drawings.</li><li>Timeliness and accuracy of progress reporting.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Interior Fit-out (or related field).</li><li>4&ndash;7 years of relevant experience in interior fit-out projects in UAE/GCC.</li><li>Strong knowledge of MEP and HVAC systems (ducting, chilled water, piping, electrical, plumbing).</li><li>Ability to read, interpret, and implement technical drawings and design details.</li><li>Knowledge of UAE building codes and authority regulations.</li><li>Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office.</li><li>Valid UAE driving license preferred.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong technical drawing interpretation and coordination skills.</li><li>Excellent site management and problem-solving ability.</li><li>Strong communication and leadership qualities.</li><li>Detail-oriented with focus on quality, safety, and design compliance.</li><li>Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.</li></ul>Job Type: Temporary Contract length: 6 months
