JOB DESCRIPTION:<ul><li>Assists residents in maintaining their highest level of functional independence treating all residents with dignity and respect.</li><li>Assists residents with activities of daily living, i.e. bathing, oral hygiene, continence management, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, and eating.</li><li>Develops meaningful relationships with residents.</li><li>Engages residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.</li><li>Encourages residents to participate in Joyful Moments activities.</li><li>Assists with light housekeeping and meal service.</li><li>Assists with medication administration and assistance and follows all regulations and protocols.</li><li>Notifies Director of Wellness of any changes in residents condition, behavioral changes, increased care needs, injuries, skin breakdown or any other changes.</li><li>Responds to resident pendant calls promptly.</li><li>Practices superior standard care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene and health.</li><li>Current and valid Medication Aide/Technician Certification preferred.</li><li>Ability to read, write and speak English.</li><li>Successfully complete training as required and in accordance with state regulations.</li><li>Experience preferred.</li><li>Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law and Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) requirements.
