Ophthalmic Scribes play a key role in supporting our providers and patients. You&rsquo;ll accompany physicians during exams, document real-time patient interactions, and assist with testing and procedures.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL DO</b></p><ul><li>
Prepare patient charts/EMRs and exam rooms</li><li>
Accurately document physician-patient interactions</li><li>
Track orders, prescriptions, and testing</li><li>
Perform ophthalmic testing &amp; work up (visual acuity, tonometry, dilation, OCT, VF, etc.)</li><li>
Educate patients on procedures, testing, and prescriptions</li><li>
Audit charts for accuracy</li><li>
Provide exceptional patient care and service</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
WHAT WE&rsquo;RE LOOKING FOR</b></p><ul><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Outgoing, dependable, and service-oriented</li><li>
Calm under pressure, adaptable to change</li><li>
Positive team player with a can-do attitude</li><li>
Knowledge of ocular pharmacology is a plus (not required)</li><li>
Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
