<b><i>Principal Activities:</i></b></div><ul><li>
Evaluating and actioning compliant system buy messages.</li><li>
Updating parameters if needed, liaising with vendors for PO acknowledgements in line with requirements.</li><li>
Evaluating and responding to supplier feedback as needed to ensure excellent quality PO's with on time deliveries.</li><li>
Maintain strong supplier relationships.</li><li>
Adhere and perform to the Supply Chain Buyer&rsquo;s key performance indicator.</li><li>

Key responsibilities:</i></b></div><ul><li><br>
Continuous communication with suppliers via phone and email: initial order planning and<br>
acknowledgement, tracking, inbound freight management<br>
<ul><li>Responsible for Purchasing: order requirement, scheduling, and placement</li><li>Communicate effectively with the Supply Chain team and other internal departments.</li><li>Communicate with suppliers as required to build and maintain a strong relationship to aid in</li></ul>
resolving service, delivery, and other issues.<br>
<ul><li>Meet or exceed Supply Chain Buyers Key Performance Indicators</li><li>Collaborate with Supply Chain Planners and Demand Planning to continuously improve forecast</li></ul>
and order portfolios to the supplier<br>
<ul><li>Other tasks and duties as assigned</li></ul><br>

Optimas is looking for a self-starter, dynamic and determined <b>Business Development Director</b> who will be responsible of developing the market in the region according to the company&rsquo;s business strategies. This position will also develop potential key accounts to achieve target business growth, according to company&rsquo;s business strategies.</div><div><b>

This position requires up to 50% travel,</b> reports directly to the General Manager - Turkey, and plays a key role in contributing to the success of the entire organization. Main responsibilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Develop potential key accounts to achieve target business plans,</li><li>
Promote and sell Optimas&rsquo; total value proposition (products, engineering &amp; logistics),</li><li>
Build good strategic relationships with all related functions internally and externally for projects realization and acceleration,</li><li>
Develop existing &amp; new customers to their full potential,</li><li>
Be aware of market changes and competitors&rsquo; activities and report periodically,</li><li>
Make sales presentations and solicit RFQs in time,</li><li>
Work closely with the global Program Manager/Architect,</li><li>
Contract review and signing and E&amp;O discussion &amp; resolutions periodically,</li><li>
Present sales/key customer report monthly,</li><li>
Create and realize business development plan and sales/market forecast,</li><li>
Analyze business performance of key accounts and formulate strategies and action plans to improve GP and profitability,</li><li>
Assure overall customer satisfactions,</li><li>
Other responsibilities assigned by superiors.</li></ul><div><b>
Skills and Qualifications:</b></div><div>

The ideal candidate must have the following competencies:</div><ul><li>
B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or any other relevant academic background,</li><li>
Over 5 years of relevant working experience,</li><li>
Experience in the fastener or C class components industry and in a multinational company is preferred,</li><li>
Excellent English communication skills &ndash; written and spoken [<b>Must</b>],</li><li>
Experience in project management and reporting in complex multidisciplinary projects,</li><li>
Project management skills and experience in implementing projects within decentralized organizations,</li><li>
Have high degree of integrity, ethics, motivation, energy and enthusiasm,</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills, communication and negotiation skills,</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.</li></ul><div>
