Optimas is currently searching for an experienced and energetic <b>Supply Chain Team Leader</b> based in Pune. You will assist the Supply Chain Manager in ensuring 100% on time delivery to the customer and providing best in class service to our customers in a multi-location global distribution environment. Outstanding collaboration with other members of Supply Chain, Sourcing, Sales and Operations support teams is critical to achieving objectives.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Principal </b><b>Activities</b><b>:</b></div><br>

Supervise a team of Supply Chain Planners who themselves are based in Pune,</li><li>
Maintain strong supplier relationships,</li><li>
Meet and/or exceed service expectations and initiatives of the business,</li><li>
Partner with sourcing to ensure inventory requirements are aligned,</li><li>
Adhere to and perform to the Supply Chain Planner key performance indicators.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Main Responsibilities</b><b>:</b></div><br>

Checking the accuracy of work undertaken by the team, ensuring the track will be covered for all parts from all the Supply Chain Planners in the team,</li><li>
Acting as the first point of contact for escalation to the Supply Chain Manager,</li><li>
Attending and representing the team at Resource and Running Change meetings,</li><li>
Continuous communication with suppliers via phone and email; initial order planning and acknowledgement, tracking, shipping, discrepancies, invoice errors, quality issues and inbound freight management,</li><li>
Responsible for system transactions related to purchasing and order requirement scheduling,</li><li>
Manage supplier orderbooks,</li><li>
Utilize daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to optimize inventory investment,</li><li>
Communicate effectively with the Supply chain team and other internal departments,</li><li>
Communicate with suppliers as required to build and maintain a strong relationship to aid resolving service, delivery, and other issues,</li><li>
Meet and/or exceed Supply Chain KPI&rsquo;s,</li><li>
Make critical decisions daily with the ability to develop root cause analysis,</li><li>
Collaborate with Operations to meet urgent customer demand and order requirements,</li><li>
Collaborate with the Technical Service Department on quality related issues,</li><li>
Collaborate with Supply Chain Analysists and Demand Planning to continuously improve forecast and other portfolios to the supplier,</li><li>
Perform other duties as required.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

You will work with the French team on some sales topics. You will report to the Sales Manager in France.</div><div></div><div><b>

Forecast variation: update the database each Monday and analysis the results + share the issues</li><li>
Extrapolation: launch the program in ERP, analysis the file (in Excel), upload the new extrapolation in ERP (via Excel)</li></ul><ul><li>
Pivots new business: update the pivot tables each monday and send a report with the team</li><li>
Cost breakdown, upload offers on customer's portals</li></ul><p><b>
Skills and qualifications required:</b></p><ul><li>
Three to five years in an administrative role</li><li>
Strong experience with an ERP system</li><li>
Fluent in English</li><li>
