We are presently recruiting for a board certified OB/GYN Physician to provide care to our patients in Bridgeport, CT. Join our team-based model of care delivered in a kind and compassionate manner. This integrated care, Community Health Center seeks a MD/DO who is passionate about treating those in need and working with an underserved population.

Position Highlights:<ul><li>Work in a multispecialty federally qualified healthcare clinic providing care to an existing patient base.</li><li>Work in a 100% outpatient setting with the availability of providing outpatient and inpatient obstetric and gynecological care.</li><li>Family friendly schedule, with no on-call requirements, Monday to Friday working week with the option of part-time or flexible hours.</li></ul>

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Provides direct health care to patients, ages 16 and up, presenting for care.</li><li>Provides or directly oversees gynecology services</li><li>Provides or directly oversees prenatal services for low and high-risk pregnant patients.</li><li>Participate in Medical Staff Meetings and on Optimus committees.</li><li>Pursue continuing medical education opportunities to update medical knowledge and assure quality patient care.</li><li>Work with Teams, Outreach Workers and with other Department&rsquo;s staff to facilitate efforts in providing quality patient care.</li></ul>
EDUCATION: Medical Degree from an accredited Medical School. Documented completion of a Residency from an accredited institution specializing in Obstetrics &amp; Gynecology. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics &amp; Gynecology. Current Connecticut licensure
