What We Are Looking For</b></div><div><br>
At Opus we work with some of the world&rsquo;s most influential brands to design, create, and manage their most important events and experiential campaigns. The Solutions Architect is responsible for working with clients to recommend, architect, integrate and oversee the event technology and experiential solutions, while managing third party technology relationships and contracts.</div><div><br>
The Solutions Architect will work within event teams to ensure multiple external event technologies come together flawlessly to create a successful and innovative event. In the digital event space, the event happens online, and you are responsible for making sure the doors open and the lights turn on.</div><div><br>
<b>
YOU SHOULD HAVE</b></div><div><br>
<ul><li>
3+ years&rsquo; experience in a services organization delivering technology</li><li>
5+ years&rsquo; experience with a broad array of technology disciplines including Architecture, Application Development, Technology Delivery and Service, and Data Management</li><li>
Bachelor's degree from four-year institution is preferred</li><li>
Supervisor experience preferred</li></ul></div><div></div><div><b>
Essential Duties And Responsibilities</b></div><div><br>
<ul><li>
Collaborate with project stakeholders, recommend and document event technology solutions</li><li>
Provide technical oversight on Event Technology for Digital, Hybrid and In-Person engagements</li><li>
Guide event teams and clients through integrating multiple event technologies</li><li>
Work as a consultant in area of expertise on OPUS's events, from simple to moderate complexity</li><li>
Effectively manage relationships with clients, vendors, and project stakeholders</li><li>
Work with multiple, external registration tools and digital platforms and consult clients on all of them</li><li>
Effectively delegate technical tasks to Implementation team</li><li>
Perform Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing</li></ul></div><div></div><div><b>

While you won&rsquo;t be required to implement these things, it&rsquo;s important that you have a basic understanding of the below concepts so you can speak intelligently to them in meetings with technical partners and so you can better ask questions and understand technical workflows:</div><div><br>

Understand the platform landscape (Registration, Digital, interactive, analytics, reporting, etc)</li><li>
Internet Infrastructure concepts &ndash; Domains, DNS (CName, MX, and SPF setup), cloud servers, load balancing, SEO knowledge/tracking (i.e. UTM vs Tag IDs),</li><li>
Frontend concepts &ndash; understand HTML/CSS/JS/frameworks limitations, UI/UX, time to implement</li><li>
Site state concepts &ndash; cookies, session states, client vs server data flows</li><li>
Integrations &ndash; webhooks vs APIs, how they work, authentication, restrictions</li><li>
Video streaming protocols (RTMP, RTSP, WebRTC, etc)</li><li>
Data structure &ndash; types of data and how they are represented, how data is stored and retrieved (XML, JSON)</li><li>
Basic understanding of SQL Databases</li><li>
Basic understanding of data security, infosec and GDPR</li></ul></div><div></div><div><b>
Travel And Flexible Schedule Required</b></div><div><br>
This position is required to travel to attend events. Air travel and overnight stays are required. There will occasionally be the need to work outside standard business hours.<br>

How We&rsquo;ll Take Care Of You</b></div><div><br>
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between $95,000 and $115,000. Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.</div><div><br>
