<ul><li>Ensure the Extrusion department is organized and controlled efficiently to ensure the maximum production of good quality material.</li><li>Liaise with planning to ensure the most effective mix of work and customer priorities. Schedule work in the absence of a planner.</li><li>Ensure that the system and methods of work and plant produce material to the correct quality and investigate, monitor, and control areas of concern.</li><li>Investigate and recommend changes to plant procedures to improve the performance of the department.</li><li>Provide information and reports for management control purposes.</li><li>Deal with technical affecting the performance of the department including quality problems and production engineering matters.</li><li>Ensure the supply and integrity of materials and equipment necessary for the department to perform.</li><li>Monitor production orders before production.</li><li>Ensure training requirements are identified and carried out.</li><li>Deal with industrial relations matters that arise within the department.</li><li>Preparing Daily Production Plan based on the availability of Resources and Dispatch Plan.</li><li>Monitor the performance of all processes to ensure the workplace is clean and safe. Meeting to be conducted with all shop floor employees.</li><li>Preparation of validation and revalidation plan covering all the process</li><li>Conducting Validation and revalidation as per plan and initiating necessary actions if any deviations found</li><li>Responsible for proper identification of goods with their status (e.g. RM, In process, semi-finished, FG, ready for dispatch, waiting for rework, reworked products, rejected, waiting for inspection, etc.,)</li><li>To ensure Work instructions are prepared to cover the safety of the product, handling method, avoiding human errors, and displayed in respective areas.</li><li>To ensure the operators are aware of documents that need to be used.</li><li>Review process-related documents frequently and update them when and where necessary.</li><li>Preparing of annual PM plan based on the manufacturer&rsquo;s recommendation</li><li>Preparing and executing Daily preventive maintenance for all machines/equipment/utilities</li><li>Reviewing and updating the Daily PM checklist based on the Identified root cause during BD</li><li>Conducting preventive maintenance for all machines and utilities.</li><li>Maintaining Critical Spares and ensuring it was readily usable at any movement</li><li>Renewal of competency certificate for materials handling equipment and pressure vessels.</li><li>Following the Workplace Safety and 5S activities</li><li>Review and revise the PM checklist frequently</li><li>Identification of needs and expectations of interested parties</li><li>Conducting regular trainings of Quality Policy, Objectives, and its status to their subordinators</li><li>Responsible for the effective implementation of IMS in the process</li><li>Ensuring planned arrangements are met</li><li>Responsible for the promotion of customer focus across their process</li><li>Ensuring only the latest / updated documents are available in the process</li><li>Ensuring the changes made in the IMS are effectively communicated to the respective personnel</li><li>Identification of Risks and Opportunities in their respective process</li><li>Ensuring the effective implementation of action planned to mitigate the risk</li><li>Responsible for updating/modifying the Risks and Opportunities, whenever any issue raises</li><li>Frequently review the effectiveness of the actions taken for the identified risk</li><li>Responsible for achieving department targets</li><li>Monitoring of MTTR / MTBF and initiating necessary actions to achieve the Targets</li><li>To update the preventive/predictive maintenance checklist as a result of BD Assessment / Risk and Opportunities, OEE, MTTR / MTBF monitoring</li><li>Conducting Induction training for new joiners</li><li>Identification of process-related training for their subordinators</li><li>Conducting job training on the process</li><li>Evaluating the Training conducted</li><li>Maintaining and updating of skill matrix for their subordinators</li><li>Ensuring proper maintenance of Tools</li><li>To ensure the Monitoring and Measuring equipment used for the Maintenance Process and in the equipment and Utilities are Calibrated as per plan.</li><li>Ensuring necessary safety gadgets are properly used during process execution</li><li>Identification of Organizational knowledge for their subordinates, that all necessary for their process and sharing the knowledge through discussion / updating the required documented information/training</li><li>Responsible for creating and updating of process related documents (after the approval from the top management)</li><li>Responsible for proper maintenance of process-related documents/records until the retention period</li><li>Responsible for frequent review of documented information for its suitability and adequacy</li><li>Responsible for the effective implementation of decided actions for the identified Non-conformances.</li><li>Responsible for review of actions for its effectiveness</li><li>Planning and execution of continual improvements in their respective process</li><li>To ensure proper test runs are conducted after service carried out by external service providers before handing over to the production department</li><li>Calibration of Measuring devices</li><li>Control of Energy and Water consumption</li><li>Investigating and taking corrective actions/preventive actions for Environmental nonconformances</li><li>Coordination with government bodies</li><li>To act as Fire-Coordinator during emergencies</li></ul>Requisite Skills:<ul><li>4M Management</li><li>Change management</li><li>Escalation Matrix</li><li>5s Management</li><li>POKA-YOKE</li></ul>To implement ISO, IATF, BIS, and Testing standards Viz.
