Your Role: </b>As a Member Service Representative, you'll be the face of our credit union, providing a range of services that go beyond basic transactions.</p><ul><li>
Handle teller transactions and eventually learn to open new accounts with accuracy and a friendly demeanor.</li><li>
Cross-sell products and services, helping members discover solutions that meet their financial needs.</li><li>
Resolve any issues with a consultative approach that builds trust and long-term relationships.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
What We're Looking For:</b></p><ul><li><b>
Experience:</b> Within a banking or credit union environment, recent Teller experience experience is preferred.</li><li><b>
Sales &amp; Communication Skills:</b> Proven ability to cross-sell and refer products and services effectively. Ability to write and speak in an approachable yet professional manner.</li><li><b>
Technology:</b> Ability to understand and use various systems and software.</li><li><b>
Availability:</b> Must be available Monday through Saturday, with schedules varying between 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM on weekdays and 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM on Saturdays.</li><li><b>
Integrity:</b> Willingness to undergo thorough background and credit checks.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Compensation:</b> We value your experience and skills, and our competitive hourly rates reflect that. Final offers are based on qualifications, internal equity, and the level of position offered. Below are OCFCU&rsquo;s branch job levels with their corresponding hourly pay:</p><ul><li><b>
Member Service Rep. I:</b> $20.00 (requires minimum two years of customer service and cash handling experience)</li><li><b>
Member Service Rep. II:</b> $20.50 (requires minimum six-months recent Teller experience)</li><li><b>
Member Service Rep. III:</b> $21.00 - $22.00 (requires minimum one year recent Teller experience and six-months of New Accounts experience)</li><li><b>
Member Service Rep. IV:</b> $23.00 - $25.00 (requires minimum two years within the credit union/banking industry, including one year recent universal banker experience. The universal banker will have expertise in the following; teller transactions, opening all types of accounts, AND experience with consumer loans and other complex banking services)</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
