 As an
 
 Environmental Test Technician
 
 , you&rsquo;ll be responsible for executing spacecraft environmental test campaigns and operating critical test infrastructure including thermal vacuum chambers, vibration tables, and acoustic test equipment. You&rsquo;ll work hands-on with flight hardware, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems to ensure our spacecraft can survive the rigors of launch and space operations. This is a high-impact, detail-driven role ideal for a technician with strong test fundamentals and a passion for precision.
 
 
 
 About This Role

 Operate and maintain environmental test equipment (thermal vacuum, vibration, acoustic chambers)
 </li>
 <li>
 Set up test articles and install sensors (e.g., thermocouples, accelerometers, strain gauges)
 </li>
 <li>
 Execute environmental tests per procedure and engineering direction
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor test progress, identify and report anomalies or failures
 </li>
 <li>
 Collect and analyze test data; prepare accurate technical reports
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of test equipment
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with safety protocols and cleanroom procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with AIT, QA, and engineering teams to improve test processes
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 </ul>
 
 Must Haves

 <li>
 2&ndash;5 years of environmental test experience (aerospace or high-reliability hardware preferred)
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency operating test equipment (thermal vacuum chambers, vibration shakers, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to read and interpret test plans, schematics, and engineering drawings
 </li>
 <li>
 Technical diploma or Associate&rsquo;s degree in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical or electrical technology)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety in high-stakes environments
 </li>
 <li>
 Solid understanding of instrumentation and data acquisition systems
 
 </li>
 </ul>

 Experience with environmental test standards (e.g., GEVS, Mil-Std-1540, CEQATR)
 </li>

 Familiarity with RF testing setups or tools
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic scripting or programming skills (Python preferred)
 </li>
 <li>
 Certified forklift and/or crane operator
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working in cleanroom or ISO-classified environments
 
 </li>
