Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, sanitization, and order in various settings, including residential homes and commercial spaces. This role requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all clients. The Housekeeper will work an 8-hour shift from Monday-Friday (9am-5pm) with half-days on Saturdays.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Clean and tidy all guest rooms, hallways, common areas, fitness center, and dining facilities</li><li>Dust and polish various surfaces and furniture</li><li>Vacuum, sweep and mop floors</li><li>Empty trash bins</li><li>Change linens and towels</li><li>Pick up and deliver guests&rsquo; laundry and linens</li><li>Immediately report any issues requiring maintenance</li><li>Communicate with Housekeeping Manager to prioritize room &ldquo;flips&rdquo;/resets</li><li>Audit rooms and common areas</li><li>Notify Housekeeping Manager of room availability</li><li>Report suspicious activity/items to Housekeeping Manager</li></ul>Customer Service:<ul><li>Knock and announce Housekeeping presence prior to room entry; return at a later time if room is occupied</li><li>Ability to demonstrate discretion and respect of guests&rsquo; privacy</li><li>Communicate &ldquo;special orders&rdquo; pertaining to laundry services to laundry service attendant</li></ul>Other Duties:Please Note: This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.WORK ENVIRONMENT AND DEMANDS:The physical demands/conditions described below represent those that must be met/tolerated by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
