POSITION SUMMARY:</b></div><p>
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Supervisor champions safety procedures and policies, leads the CI Program, ensures quality standards throughout operations (Quality Control), and provides systems support for WMS and BisTrack. Conducting branch audits and trainings, and providing operational support are essential to this position. This is a labor-intensive position that requires heavy lifting. Individuals are regularly on their feet throughout the day and may work at heights as required. Safety is a priority.</p><p>

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES:</b></p><div><b>
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:</b></div><ul><li>
Implement and audit maintenance of KPI Boards.</li><li>
Responsible for CI Program training. Audit events for accuracy and sustainability.</li><li>
Implement and audit production recap and current day production levels.</li><li>
Lead and audit daily team meetings.</li><li>
Work with team and operations leadership to analyze and resolve minor to moderate challenges, develop and implement improvements, and maintain a safe work environment.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
SAFETY:</b></div><ul><li>
Prepare and conduct monthly safety training sessions for all employees where relevant.</li><li>
Lead injury and incident inquiries, evaluations and reporting.</li><li>
Enforce and adhere to OrePac&rsquo;s policies, procedures, and safety program, as well as applicable state and federal laws.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
QUALITY CONTROL:</b></div><ul><li>
Responsible for employee training and audits of process, product, and acceptability of end products.</li><li>
Perform shop assessments and make recommendations for equipment, tools and man power.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
SYSTEMS SUPPORT (WMS, BISTRACK, MARKETPLACE):</b></div><ul><li>
Investigate, support, and resolve system errors.</li><li>
Conduct employee training on proper system processes focused on operational efficiency, inventory, and order entry accuracy.</li><li>
Document, in detail, systems process resolutions for training and compliance.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
OTHER:</b></div><ul><li>
Forklift duties may be assigned to this position. Any assigned forklift duties will first require taking and passing a forklift training course and obtaining a certificate. Forklift duties will include staging and/or stacking material neatly and safely, operating the forklift in a safe manner, filling the forklift with propane fuel, and regularly checking the forklift fluid levels.</li></ul><p><b>

Excellent problem solving/resolution skills, including the ability to problem solve minor to moderate challenges within the department utilizing the tools and resources available and escalate the matter to a manager when appropriate.</li><li>
Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills. Comfortability speaking in front of groups of people consisting of employees, customers, and/or members of leadership.</li><li>
Comfortability engaging and leading individual and team discussions and meetings. Ability to articulate direction and expectations to teammates in a clear and concise manner.</li><li>
Ability to re-prioritize as necessary throughout the day with minimal supervision and effectively communicate changes to the team. Must be flexible and ready to adapt within a fast-paced working environment while maintaining quality results and achieving operational goals.</li><li>
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.</li><li>
Ability to adhere to all facets of safety policies and procedures, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as designated by OrePac&rsquo;s safety program. Ability to perform all essential responsibilities of job in a safe manner.</li><li>
Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.</li><li>
Technological aptitude, including the ability to learn and understand Microsoft Office Suite, ERP Systems, and Marketplace.</li><li>

REQUIRED EDUCATION &amp; EXPERIENCE:</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in any field (preferred).</li><li>

WORK ENVIRONMENT:</b></p><ul><li>
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet, however, while in the branch warehouses and shops, the noise is loud.</li><li>
The employee routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers, photocopiers, and smartphones.</li><li>
The employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions.</li><li>
The employee may work in high or precarious places.</li><li>
This role will travel up to 10% of a month to OrePac branches.</li></ul><p><b>
