Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented, hands-on Accounting Manager to lead and participate in the day-to-day accounting functions of the company. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, managing the accounting cycle, and supervising accounting staff while actively performing key accounting tasks. This position focuses on execution, process consistency, and timely reporting.DutiesDaily Accounting Operations (Hands-On)<ul><li>Perform and oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate processing of all transactions.</li><li>Assist with accounting tasks during high-volume periods.</li></ul>Month-End Close &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Lead and execute month-end and year-end close processes.</li><li>Prepare and review financial statements.</li><li>Maintain supporting schedules and reconciliations.</li><li>Ensure deadlines are met for internal reporting.</li></ul>Process Management &amp; Accuracy<ul><li>Maintain and improve accounting workflows and procedures.</li><li>Ensure consistency and accuracy in financial data.</li><li>Identify and resolve discrepancies.</li></ul>Team Supervision<ul><li>Supervise and support accounting staff.</li><li>Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.</li><li>Ensure workload is distributed effectively.</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Support<ul><li>Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.</li><li>Assist with audits and provide documentation.</li><li>Support tax preparation with organized records.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li><li>5&ndash;8+ years of accounting experience.</li><li>Strong full-cycle accounting experience required.</li><li>Supervisory experience preferred.</li><li>Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.</li><li>Industry experience preferred.</li></ul>Key Skills<ul><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Organizational and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Problem-solving mindset.</li><li>Effective communication and leadership.</li></ul>Pay: $76,785.79 - $92,473.21 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Tualatin, OR 97062
