<div>JOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of teller duties including paying out, receiving and keeping transaction records to existing and potential clients with efficient and accurate services.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:<div>
Education: High school graduate or equivalent</div><div>
Experience: 6 months of teller, customer service or cash handling experience</div> 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>
Use software applications as required by specific job functions</li><li>
Use procedures and forms relating to the activities of the assigned work unit</li><li>
Perform various account transactions such as receiving deposits, verify cash and endorsements, ordering checks, processing wires, accepting loan payments, and selling cashier checks.</li><li>
Accept checks for cashing or paying; verify endorsements; identify clients and customers; insure validity of transactions</li><li>
Manage and balance cash within teller guidelines for position</li><li>
Assist with debit cards including ordering cards and researching transactions in core system</li><li>
Assisting clients in various ways including reconciling account, researching problems and resolving complaints or requests.</li><li>
Prepare change orders for commercial clients</li><li>
Willingness to learn about various kinds of accounts available to clients; cross-sell bank products and services where appropriate</li><li>
Serve clients courteously and expeditiously to ensure their satisfaction</li><li>
Teamwork: Support co-workers whenever help is needed to provide the highest level of client service and assist in completing department duties in a timely and efficient manner</li><li>
Be knowledgeable of bank compliance rules and adhere to Federal and State banking regulations relating to this position</li><li>
Follow all Bank compliance policies and procedures relating to this position</li><li>
Other duties as assigned to meet client and operational needs</li></ul>

Ability to communicate in person, by email, and phone in an effective and professional manner</li><li>
Competency with extensive face-to-face contact with clients</li><li>
Competency in providing exemplary client service in a professional manner</li><li>
Ability to interpret bank policies and procedures to clients</li><li>
Ability to tolerate stress and deal with clients under circumstances requiring tact and diplomacy</li><li>
Ability to handle large amounts of cash and make change</li><li>
Competency in basic mathematical skills such as calculating interest and percentages</li><li>
Ability to operate on-line teller terminal</li><li>
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time</li><li>
Ability to lift bags of coin up to 30 lbs.</li></ul><div></div>

Responsible to the Branch Manager for the fulfillment of functions and responsibilities.</li><li>
Will have extensive contact with clients and the public, conducting relationships in a manner that will enhance the overall marketing effort of the bank.</li></ul>
