Job Description &ndash; Assistant Manager (Purchase)Designation: Assistant Manager &ndash; PurchaseExperience: 6&ndash;7 YearsSalary Range: &#8377;25,000 &ndash; &#8377;30,000Location Preference: Local candidates onlyPlant location: New Swan MultiTech Ltd (Kohara Machiwara road)Department: PurchaseRole SummaryResponsible for independently managing the Purchase department functions, including vendor development, cost reduction strategies, material planning, negotiation, and new part development with new suppliers.Key Responsibilities- Oversee end-to-end purchase operations and supplier management.- Develop new vendors for new products, innovations, or alternate sourcing.- Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, payment terms, and long-term contracts.- Implement cost-saving strategies and monitor budget compliance.- Ensure timely material availability by controlling lead times and reviewing schedules.- Monitor vendor rating, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement.- Coordinate with PPC, production, quality, and store teams for seamless operations.- Handle escalations related to supplier delays, quality issues, or cost deviations.- Prepare and review purchase MIS, reports, and dashboards for management.- Guide junior purchase staff and ensure process adherence.Required Skills- Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills.- Strong knowledge of material procurement, technical understanding, and costing.- Experience in new vendor development and new part sourcing.- Ability to handle pressure and independently manage suppliers.- Proficiency in ERP/SAP and MS Excel.Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;25,000.00 - &#8377;30,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
