 As an
 
 Electrical Procurement Engineer
 
 , you will play a key role in coordinating and optimizing activities related to the procurement of electrical materials and systems. This role requires solid hands-on experience in purchasing electrical products. You will act as a technical reference in supplier negotiations to secure favorable prices, terms, and conditions. Additionally, you will manage lead times and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and acceptance in line with technical and quality requirements.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities:

 Requirements Analysis:
 
 
 
 Work closely with project stakeholders to understand procurement requirements for electrical systems and equipment used in mining, industrial, and construction projects.

 Vendor Identification:
 
 
 
 Conduct market research to identify and evaluate suppliers capable of meeting technical specifications and project requirements for electrical products.
 
 
 &bull;
 
 Negotiation Skills:
 
 
 
 Conduct commercial and technical negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, contract terms, and delivery schedules.
 
 
 &bull;
 
 Supplier Relationship Management:
 
 
 
 Maintain regular communication with suppliers to ensure continuity and reliability within the electrical supply chain.
 
 
 &bull;
 
 Procurement Process Streamlining:
 
 
 
 Collaborate with engineering, project, finance, and operations teams to support efficient procurement workflows and timely material availability.
 
 
 &bull;
 
 Budget Adherence:
 
 
 
 Carry out procurement activities in line with approved budgets and cost targets, working closely with project managers and finance teams.

 Contract Administration:
 
 
 
 Support procurement contract processes and ensure compliance with company policies, technical requirements, and legal standards.
 
 
 &bull;
 
 Risk Mitigation:
 
 
 
 Identify risks related to supplier performance, delivery timelines, and technical compliance, and take necessary actions to minimize delays.
 
 
 &bull;
 
 Continuous Improvement:
 
 
 
 Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, transparency, and cost control within electrical procurement activities.
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 
 
 Education:
 
 
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in
 
 Electrical Engineering
 
 .
 
 
 
 Experience:
 
 
 
 Minimum
 
 6 years of experience
 
 in electrical procurement or technical purchasing, with direct involvement in the purchase of electrical products and materials.
 
 
 
 Industry Knowledge:
 
 
 
 Experience in purchasing electrical equipment and materials such as:

 Medium and low voltage systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Switchgear, panels, cables, transformers
 </li>
 <li>
 Electrical automation and control components
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Skills:
 
 
 
 Strong negotiation skills focused on pricing, delivery terms, and technical alignment.
 
 
 
 Analytical Skills:
 
 
 
 Ability to review technical specifications and supplier offers to support purchasing decisions.
 
 
 
 Communication Skills:
 
 
 
 Clear and effective communication skills for coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
 
 
 
 Language Skills:
 
 
 
 Advanced level of English.
 
 
 
 Technical Competence:
 
 
 
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI knowledge is a plus.
 
 
 
 Mobility:
 
 
 
 Willingness to travel; no mobility restrictions.
