smartphone.Full Job Description<ul><li>Supervises activities of all Security Office, Employee Entrance and Patrol (Rover) Officer operations as outlined in the Standards of Performance Manual for Security Officers</li></ul><ul><li>Performs Security Department training related activities</li></ul><ul><li>Thoroughly reviews and understands all Emergency Response Procedures.</li></ul><ul><li>Assists in the coordination of all emergency response activities</li></ul><ul><li>Oversees access control activities at all facility entrances and ensures that only authorized individuals enter</li></ul><ul><li>Ensures maintenance of visitor sign-in/out logs and issuance of temporary passes to visitors/vendors</li></ul><ul><li>Oversees inspection of all packages entering and exiting through facility employee entrances, denies access to or removal of unauthorized materials</li></ul><ul><li>Oversees verification that all materials leaving BPCA facilities are accompanied by a completed, signed package removal pass, confiscates and turns over to management, all materials not properly authorized</li></ul><ul><li>Oversees move-ins and move-outs</li></ul><ul><li>Oversees contractor compliance with rules and regulations.</li></ul><ul><li>Reports maintenance malfunctions</li></ul><ul><li>Supervises/Patrols front of the house, back of the house, and exterior areas reporting any safety or security hazards, unacceptable behavior, or suspicious persons to Security employees for direction and resolution</li></ul><ul><li>Prepares necessary maintenance requests for safety-related maintenance requirements</li></ul><ul><li>Supervises/Monitors CCTV cameras, radio communications, and Alarm and Fire Control systems</li></ul><ul><li>Documents all security related issues and assistance provided in security reports (violation, incidents, and maintenance)</li></ul><ul><li>Documents pass down matters through the pass down log</li></ul><ul><li>Manages restricted area access logs</li></ul><ul><li>Serves as the surveillance records custodian</li></ul><ul><li>Oversees lost and found activities following BPCA policies</li></ul><ul><li>Enforces BPCA rules/regulations following Employee Manual and BPCA policy by issuing violation reports and attending violation committee hearings.</li></ul><ul><li>Monitors and ensures compliance to key control policies and serves as the unit keys custodian.</li></ul><ul><li>Interacts with residents and visitors in a courteous and professional manner</li></ul><ul><li>Responds to all residents and visitors incidents, gathers information, secures area if necessary to preserve evidence</li></ul><ul><li>Investigates breaches in security and residents and visitors incidents and accidents</li></ul><ul><li>Questions witness' to incidents, examining incident scenes, gathers evidence/ data to assist in determining cause and identification of areas where corrective actions are indicated and following policies and procedures.</li></ul><ul><li>Performs interrogation operations whenever necessary as part of departmental incident investigation</li></ul><ul><li>Assists in periodic locker/wardrobe bag inspections of employees where appropriate and conformity with policies and procedures.</li></ul><ul><li>Assists General Manager in performance of periodic safety and security inspections</li></ul><ul><li>Works closely with General Manager to identify potential loss/liability areas by identifying and correcting or reporting dangerous conditions in the property.</li></ul><ul><li>Assists General Manager in development of loss prevention procedures/policies</li></ul><ul><li>Completes all daily reports following the Safety Security Manual</li></ul><ul><li>May operate departmental vehicles to include electric personnel transport vehicles, pickup trucks, bicycles</li></ul><ul><li>May assist in obtaining packages from Shipping and Receiving (arriving during non-operating hours</li></ul><ul><li>Ensures that all after hour Shipping and Receiving entries are documented and that the reason for entry is indicated and that proper requisitions are obtained for all items removed</li></ul><ul><li>Answer department phone lines promptly and courteously following all standards</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure security personnel are familiar with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures</li></ul><ul><li>Act as security liaison with Phases</li></ul><ul><li>Archive videos of incidents per management request or otherwise as appropriate</li></ul><ul><li>Observe resident and management confidentiality standards</li></ul><ul><li>Track roving activities, schedules and breaks, security memoranda, elevator malfunctions, fire alarm occurrences, and other matters of operating concern on the Metric Report.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure water flow rupture training</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with hurricane preparation and recovery efforts</li></ul><ul><li>Review key maintenance functions during non-working hours and report potential problems</li></ul><ul><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul>General<ul><li>Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with all applicable employee non-discrimination and labor policies.</li></ul><ul><li>Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully sessions</li></ul><ul><li>Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area</li></ul><ul><li>Complies with BPCA standards, policies, and rules</li></ul><ul><li>Recycles whenever possible</li></ul><ul><li>Remains current with BPCA information and changes</li></ul><ul><li>Complies with Code of Conduct.</li></ul>Plus Factors<ul><li>Associates Degree or equivalent</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent observation, communication, guest service, and report writing skills</li></ul><ul><li>Minimum three + years previous Security supervisory experience in large convention</li></ul><ul><li>Possess, Class &quot;D&quot; Security license and CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to speak, read and write English
