Job Purpose:<br>
<ul><li>To oversee and manage all shipping and receiving operations within OROTEX CORPORATION, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining inventory control, and adhering to company policies and safety regulations.</li></ul><br>
Key Responsibilities:<br>
<ul><li>Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the shipping and receiving team, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.</li><li>Oversee the receiving process, ensuring accurate verification of incoming shipments against purchase orders, proper documentation, and timely processing of materials.</li><li>Manage the shipping process, including preparing outgoing shipments, verifying accuracy of orders, generating shipping labels, and coordinating with carriers.</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular cycle counts and resolving discrepancies.</li><li>Implement and enforce safety procedures and regulations within the shipping and receiving area.</li><li>Ensure proper handling and storage of materials, minimizing damage and loss.</li><li>Coordinate with other departments, such as purchasing, production, and sales, to ensure smooth flow of materials and information.</li><li>Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to shipping and receiving, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.</li><li>Train and develop shipping and receiving personnel on proper procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the shipping and receiving area.</li><li>Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and regulations related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management.</li><li>Prepare and submit regular reports on shipping and receiving activities to management.</li><li>Investigate and resolve any shipping or receiving discrepancies or issues promptly and efficiently.</li><li>Manage and maintain shipping and receiving equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and repairs.</li><li>Comply with all company policies and procedures.</li></ul><br>
</div><div>Required Education:<br>
<ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li></ul><br>
Required Experience:<br>
<ul><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in shipping and receiving operations</li><li>Proven experience in supervising a team</li><li>Experience with inventory management systems</li><li>Experience with various shipping carriers and their procedures</li><li>Experience in handling and processing various types of shipments (domestic, international, LTL, FTL)</li></ul><br>
Required Skills and Abilities:<br>
<ul><li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment (preferred)</li><li>Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in a warehouse environment</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li></ul></div></div>
