Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Medical Assistant/Scribe at Legacy Orthopedics &amp; Sports Medicine. The Medical Assistant/Scribe will be responsible for assisting with clinical tasks such as obtaining histories, preparing patients for exams, applying durable medical equipment, and maintaining medical records. The Medical Assistant/Scribe will also act as a scribe to our physicians, documenting patient care, prescriptions, and communicating with insurance companies. The Medical Assistant/Scribe will also be trained to help coordinate surgery and/or procedures for our providers, allowing for a well-rounded exposure.

Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) and medical terminology</li><li>
