About the role:

The Product Designer on the Network Pillar will partner closely with a Senior Product Designer and collaborate with designers across other pillars, as well as product managers, engineers, and operational stakeholders, to design and ship tools that power how Oscar evaluates, manages, and configures its provider network. This role is central to improving operational workflows and decision-making, ensuring internal teams can efficiently assess network adequacy, performance, and provider relationships. The ideal candidate brings strong systems thinking, experience designing SaaS or internal tools, and the ability to work autonomously from discovery through delivery&mdash;balancing speed, clarity, and user empathy across complex technical domains.

The Network Pillar is shaping a suite of new products that bring critical capabilities in-house, helping Oscar ensure its network of providers and services remains comprehensive, high-quality, and accessible to members nationwide. This designer will play a key role in shaping the tools that enable Oscar's teams to maintain and grow strong partnerships with providers, all while driving a consistent, scalable, and intuitive experience across the company's network management ecosystem.

You will report into the Group Product Designer.

Work Location: This position is based in our New York City office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid

Pay Transparency: The base pay for this role is: $131,200 - $172,200 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program, company equity grants and annual performance bonuses. 


Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Execute the design process with guidance on complex problems, considering long-term impact with near-term polish within a defined Oscar product area.
</li><li>Develop a deep understanding of the users, informing product strategy and solutions throughout the design process.
</li><li>Collaborate closely with other product designers, product managers, marketers, brand designers, engineers, researchers and others.</li>
<li>Follow hypothesis-driven research, prototyping and launching experiments that develop actionable insights.</li>
<li>Lead or contribute to workshops, vision activities or presentations as needed.</li>
<li>Exhibit strong craft and interaction design, maintaining a high quality bar for experiences and our design systems.</li>
<li>Translate the Oscar brand across product experiences.</li>
<li>Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>4+ years of experience in Product/UX Design.</li>
<li>2+ concrete examples of designing and shipping complex web and mobile interfaces.</li>
<li>2+ years managing stakeholders directly.</li>
</ul>

<li>Experience with the healthcare space.</li>
<li>Storytelling techniques such as animated prototypes or user flow diagrams.
</li><li>Interest in design ethics, accessibility, and other topics relevant to the healthcare space.</li>

At Oscar Medical Group, we are refactoring healthcare. We want to help each of our members achieve their healthcare goals in a personalized way. To help us achieve that goal we are looking for innovative leaders who think big and push boundaries to refactor healthcare and the healthcare delivery system.

About the role:

You will provide virtual based care to Oscar Health Insurance members within designated Oscar states. You will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients using audio, video, and written forms of communication

This is a part-time employed role, 20 hours per week.

Available Shifts:

Tuesday &amp; Sunday 8am - 6pm EST

OR

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday 6pm - 11pm EST

OR

Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 7am - 12pm EST 


You will report into the Medical Director, Virtual Urgent Care.

Pay Transparency:

Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide high quality care for patients in a virtual setting</li>
<li>Collaborate with Physicians and/or Advanced Practice Leads on the Care Team as needed when working with complex patients</li>
<li>Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers as needed</li>
<li>Use tooling to allow virtual &quot;exams&quot; including remote home monitoring equipment, remote physical exam, remote point of care diagnostics</li>
<li>Participate in collaborative care model with various care team members including but not limited to registered nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, behavioral health clinicians, and clinical supervisor where applicable</li>
<li>Participate in required meetings to support patient care including huddles, case conferencing and regular service line All Hands</li>
<li>Provide feedback to support improvement in operational workflows and product features</li>
<li>Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations</li>

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>MD/DO from accredited program</li>
<li>Board Certification (ER/FM/IM)</li>
<li>3+ years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience</li>
<li>2+ years of experience delivering virtual care/telemedicine</li>
<li>Licensed in Tennessee and/or Missouri</li>
<li>Compact license from IMLCC or eligible for a compact license (hold a full, unrestricted medical license in a state that is a member of the Compact)</li>
</ul>
