Role Overview</h2>

As a GI Expert Nurse Practitioner at Oshi Health, you'll deliver high-quality, virtual-first gastrointestinal care to adults with complex digestive conditions through our telemedicine platform. You'll work alongside a collaborative, multidisciplinary team of GI physicians, dietitians, and behavioral health specialists to provide coordinated, whole-person care that helps patients achieve lasting digestive health improvements. This role is at the heart of our mission &mdash; and your clinical expertise will directly change lives.

What You'll Do &mdash; Key Responsibilities</h2>
<ul><li>Deliver virtual patient care in alignment with Oshi's evidence-based care model, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for GI conditions with a focus on DGBIs, GERD, and IBD via video visits and chat messaging</li>
<li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (GI physicians, dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and care coordinators) to implement coordinated, comprehensive care plans</li>
<li>Adhere to clinical protocols including ROME IV criteria and AGA and ACG guidelines to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care delivery</li>
<li>Document patient interactions accurately and timely within the EHR, maintaining thorough and compliant records</li>
<li>Allocate approximately 30 hours per week to direct patient care and 10 hours to documentation, meetings, and administrative responsibilities</li>
<li>This is not a traditional 9-5 role &mdash; scheduling includes a mix of early morning, evening, and weekend hours to meet patient access needs. Flexibility and willingness to work outside standard business hours is essential</li>
<li>Participate in quality improvement, clinical program development, and professional training to stay current in the field of gastrointestinal care</li>
<li>Pursue cross-licensure opportunities and maintain good standing with all relevant licenses and certifications</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">What We're Looking For &mdash; Qualifications &amp; Requirements</h2>

Required
<ul>
<li>Current licensure as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing</li>
<li>Current certification by ANCC, AANP, or other qualifying agency as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in gastroenterology specialty in an outpatient setting</li>
<li>Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary care providers including physicians, psychologists, and registered dietitians</li>
</ul>
Preferred
<ul>
<li>Licensure in 2 additional states desired &mdash; candidates must be willing and able to obtain within 60 days of hire</li>
<li>Experience with or willingness to learn common administrative and clinical technologies (Zoom, Google Suite, Salesforce, Athena, or equivalent)</li>
<li>Prior experience with telehealth platforms</li>
<li>Comfort operating in an entrepreneurial or start-up environment with evolving workflows and ambiguity</li>
