We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site technical support for Cargo Vehicle Inspection (CVI) systems across the MEA region, with a primary base in Dubai.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
Role Overview</b></div><div>
The Field Service Technician will deliver highly visible customer support through on-site servicing, maintenance, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of complex CVI equipment and systems. This role acts as the primary technical point of contact for assigned customer sites and plays a key role in ensuring system performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction.</div><br>

<b>Responsibilities</b><br>

<p></p><ul><li><ul><li>Provide field service engineering support for Cargo Vehicle Inspection (CVI) scanning systems</li><li>Carry out system repairs, preventive maintenance, and fault-finding on CVI systems and subsystems</li><li>Act as the customer&rsquo;s assigned technical Point of Contact (POC)</li><li>Organise and execute scheduled maintenance and repairs on cargo systems including M60, T60, P60 ZBX, ZBV, Z-Portal, and T25</li><li>Support Mercedes-based service vehicle requirements, including oil changes, filters, and general upkeep</li><li>Provide 3rd line technical support to site engineers and customer representatives, both verbally and in writing</li><li>Deliver defect liability and post-acceptance support for CVI equipment</li><li>Instruct customers on system operation and maintenance</li><li>Complete technical documentation including service reports, engineering change requests, and service data entry into internal systems</li><li>Ensure all issued equipment (vehicles, tools, spares, consumables, and test equipment) is maintained safely and correctly</li><li>Uphold Rapiscan Systems&rsquo; core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork</li></ul></li></ul>

<b>Qualifications</b><br>

<div></div><ul><li><ul><li>BTEC, City &amp; Guilds, HNC, or equivalent qualification in an engineering discipline</li><li>Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems</li><li>Experience with integrated IT systems including PLCs, high-voltage systems, and/or radar</li><li>Knowledge of IT networking solutions (CCNP or similar preferred)</li><li>Experience with low-voltage systems, CCTV, UVIS, and hydraulic systems</li><li>Willingness to work in a field-based role supporting critical security infrastructure</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><div><i><br>
