 Role Summary
 
 
 
 We&rsquo;re looking for a
 
 Mechanical Engineering Intern
 
 to join our Product Innovation Team, someone who&rsquo;s excited to turn ideas into tangible systems and prototypes. You&rsquo;ll help design, build, and test next-generation mechanical systems that power Ossus&rsquo; hydrogen generation technologies.

 What You&rsquo;ll Do
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Support the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD).
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and assemble prototypes using 3D printing, machining, and other rapid prototyping techniques.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct tests, collect data, and validate performance to improve mechanical design.
 </li>
 <li>
 Diagnose and resolve design or performance issues during development.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare technical drawings, assembly documentation, and test reports.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with electrical, controls, and process teams to develop integrated systems.
 </li>
 <li>
 Suggest design improvements based on testing and user feedback.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 What We&rsquo;re Looking For
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor&rsquo;s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong grasp of design principles, materials, and manufacturing methods.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on experience with prototyping &mdash; 3D printing, machining, or fabrication.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable working in a fast-paced, iterative prototyping environment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong teamwork, documentation, and communication skills.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Good to Have
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience with pressure systems, valves, or test rigs.
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with CFD or structural simulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Exposure to product development lifecycles &mdash; from concept to pilot testing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior internship or project experience involving hardware prototyping or system integration.
 </li>
