Scrum Master 


Description of Specific Duties in a Typical Workday for this Position:
<ul>
<li>Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams supporting the Government program&rsquo;s objectives.</li>
<li>Facilitate all core Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Agile Program Manager, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure sprint goals are well-defined, achievable, and aligned with program priorities.</li>
<li>Remove team impediments, coordinate dependencies, and escalate risks or blockers as needed to maintain delivery momentum.</li>
<li>Coach team members on Agile principles, values, and best practices to strengthen Agile maturity and collaboration across teams.</li>
<li>Promote continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements, fostering open communication, and encouraging accountability.</li>
<li>Track and communicate team progress through Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) and ensure transparency in reporting to leadership and stakeholders.</li>
<li>Support Agile adoption and help the organization apply Scrum, Kanban, or Lean practices where appropriate.</li>
<li>Maintain documentation of team activities, deliverables, and lessons learned to support ongoing process refinement.</li>
<li>Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with Government standards and project requirements.</li></ul> 


Requirements (Years of Experience, Education, Certifications):
<ul>
<li>Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Project Lead.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting at least two full Agile projects from inception through completion.</li>
<li>Proven success managing team-level delivery and coordinating across cross-functional or multi-disciplinary teams.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies.</li>
<li>Education: Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.</li>
<li>Certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certification.</li>
<li>Clearance: Active Secret security clearance required.</li></ul> 


Nice to Have (Skills That Are Not Required, But Nice to Have):
<ul>
<li>Experience supporting Agile transformation initiatives within DoD or large enterprise environments.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Agile Program Management practices and coordination with higher-level Agile leadership roles.</li>
<li>Experience working in or supporting government or defense programs with complex, multi-stakeholder structures.</li>
<li>Knowledge of Agile project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or Rally).</li>
<li>Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.</li>
<li>Ability to adapt Agile practices to hybrid or scaled environments (e.g., SAFe).</li></ul>

Project Manager II 


Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position:

The Project Manager II supports program management activities. The individual assists with planning, coordination, and execution of projects related to network transport, optical networking, and IT infrastructure supporting defense communications environments.

Responsibilities include supporting development and maintenance of Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), tracking project milestones, and assisting with coordination between engineering teams, program leadership, and external stakeholders. The Project Manager helps ensure projects remain aligned with cost, schedule, and performance objectives.

The role supports coordination of technical reviews, system deployments, testing activities, and acceptance milestones for transport and IP networking systems. The individual works with technical teams to track project progress, identify potential issues, and communicate updates to program leadership.

Additional duties include supporting vendor coordination, assisting with contract and budget tracking, and helping ensure program activities align with applicable DISA technical standards and cybersecurity requirements. The Project Manager also assists with identifying potential risks and supporting mitigation efforts to keep project execution on track.

Requirements (Years of Experience Required):
<ul><li>3&ndash;5+ years of experience supporting IT, networking, or technical project management activities.</li><li>Experience supporting project scheduling, milestone tracking, or Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development.</li><li>Experience coordinating with engineering teams, program stakeholders, and technical personnel during project execution.</li><li>Familiarity with networking or transport technologies such as DWDM, OTN, ROADMs, or high-capacity transport systems (100G/400G) is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field.</li><li>Active Secret security clearance required.</li></ul>

Nice to Have:
<ul><li>Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.</li><li>Experience supporting DoD or DISA programs.</li><li>Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes or program lifecycle support.</li><li>Experience working in environments supporting optical transport or enterprise networking infrastructure.</li><li>Experience supporting risk management, program reporting, or vendor coordination activities.</li></ul>
