What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Manage day-to-day shop operations for the repair and assembly of centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, electric motors, and related rotating equipment</li>
<li>Meet or exceed Monthly, quarterly, and annual Repair department Revenue, Profit, and Safety targets.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer delivery expectations</li>
<li>Monitor workflow, capacity planning, and labor utilization</li>
<li>Ensure jobs move efficiently from teardown through inspection, machining, rebuild, testing, and final QC</li>
<li>Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions</li>
<li>Supervise shop foremen, lead technicians, and production staff</li>
<li>Conduct performance evaluations and coaching</li>
<li>Enforce accountability, productivity, and workmanship standards</li>
<li>Manage labor efficiency and productivity metrics</li>
<li>Monitor shop costs including overtime, materials, and rework</li>
<li>Assist in budgeting and forecasting for manpower and equipment needs</li>
<li>Support margin improvement initiatives</li>
<li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.</li>
</ul>
What You'll Need:
<ul>
<li>Strong interest in and ability to build and maintain Teams and Team Work</li>
<li>5+ years of experience in pump, motor, or rotating equipment repair environment</li>
<li>3+ years of supervisory or production leadership experience</li>
<li>Strong understanding of mechanical repair processes, motor rewinds, machining, and testing</li>
<li>Familiarity with equipment BOMs, prints, SWIs and SOPs</li>
<li>Willingness to enforce shop safety standards and follow OSHA regulations</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills using MS Office, Adobe, and PowerPoint software</li>
<li>Proficiency in ERP systems and production tracking software</li>
<li>Prolonged standing and working in a shop environment</li>
<li>Exposure to noise, grease, and industrial conditions</li>
</ul>
