About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead the operations and growth of a rapidly expanding distribution company in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trading, supply chain management, and business development, with a passion for building efficient systems and driving profitability.This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the company&rsquo;s day-to-day operations, commercial strategy, and overall performance.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness &amp; Operations Management<ul><li>Oversee end-to-end operations including procurement, warehousing, inventory control, logistics, and distribution.</li><li>Develop and implement operational systems to ensure efficiency, quality control, and cost optimization.</li><li>Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms to secure the best pricing and supply reliability.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant local regulations, permits, and trade requirements.</li></ul>Sales &amp; Market Development<ul><li>Lead B2B sales strategy to grow the customer base across retail, hospitality, and distribution sectors.</li><li>Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand product reach.</li><li>Oversee client relationship management and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.</li><li>Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.</li></ul>Financial &amp; Administrative Leadership<ul><li>Manage budgets, pricing strategy, and profit margins to achieve financial targets.</li><li>Oversee financial reporting, cost control, and cash flow management.</li><li>Support the development of long-term business plans and performance KPIs.</li></ul>Team Leadership<ul><li>Recruit, train, and manage team members across operations, logistics, and sales.</li><li>Foster a performance-driven, accountable, and collaborative work culture.</li><li>Set clear goals and regularly evaluate team and individual performance.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).</li><li>Minimum 5&ndash;10 years of experience in general management, operations, or trading within the UAE or GCC.</li><li>Proven track record in B2B sales, import/export, and distribution management.</li><li>Strong negotiation, leadership, and organizational skills.</li><li>Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.</li><li>UAE driving license preferred.</li></ul>Key Competencies<ul><li>Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving ability.</li><li>Strategic thinker who can also execute day-to-day operations effectively.</li><li>Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.</li><li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing business environment.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per monthExpected hours: 15 &ndash; 20 per week
