Our Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a rewarding position that is responsible for delivering and retrieving processed and unprocessed blood, blood products, donor/patient samples, derivatives, equipment, and supplies to/from hospitals, mobile blood drives, centers, clinics, doctor's offices, and research facilities.

Considered applicants must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license with zero points on their driving record.

Location: Tulsa, OK

Pay: Competitive pay based on education and/or experience to include shift differential and $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!

Days: Sunday through Thursday

Hours: 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. (EVENINGS)

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High School diploma or equivalent required</li>
<li>Must be at least 21 years old</li>
<li>Must have a valid driver license</li>
<li>Driving record must have zero points with no moving violations or accidents within the last three years. A copy of driving record must be provided before being hired.</li>
<li>Comfortable driving in all types of severe weather during all hours of the day and night</li>
</ul>
Special Restrictions:
<ul><li>Must be able to lift at least 60 pounds</li>
</ul>
Primary Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Deliver, retrieve, distribute and transport Blood Products, samples, equipment, specimens, and supplies as necessary</li>
<li>Process and prepare orders for distribution of blood and blood components as appropriate for customers</li>
<li>Retrieve and secure products from assigned locations at closing (e.g. confirm all products are boxed and taken to main center; check rotator for platelets that might not have been boxed; check empty boxes for other blood products)</li>
<li>Required to be available for and to be able to respond to &quot;on-call&quot; as scheduled</li>
<li>Coordinate with Satellites and Mobile Blood Drive for pickup of products</li>
<li>Conduct minor maintenance and upkeep of vehicles and equipment used for daily operation</li>
<li>Perform quality control and maintenance equipment as appropriate</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management</li></ul></div></div>

Our Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a rewarding position with a proven track record of successful reliability that is responsible for providing a safe and pleasant blood donation experience for donors.

Considered applicants must have a high school degree or GED, college classes are a plus. This position offers WORLD CLASS PAID on-the-job training with no experience required.

The phlebotomist should be a shining example of superior customer service, professionalism, donor care and technical ability. Successful candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends. They must be on-time, reliable, good communicators, detail oriented, and work well with others. This position requires candidates to have reliable transportation, working telephone, standing for long periods of time, and ability to lift 40 lbs regularly.

Days and Hours: Varied based on when blood drives are scheduled (early mornings, late evenings, weekends) 

Primary Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Perform registration, vitals, medical screening, phlebotomy, heat sealing duties and record keeping duties associated with whole-blood, autologous, directed, therapeutic, testing services, research projects, etc</li>
<li>Strictly adhere to all standard operating procedures ensuring all blood products are collected within the quality standards set forth by regulatory agencies including the FDA</li>
<li>Assist supervisor in verifying and completion of daily paperwork</li>
<li>Alert the Supervisor of any problems or concerns when issues arise related to equipment, venipuncture, donor questions/issues or equipment performance</li>
<li>Continually assess donor needs throughout the donation process, including evaluating and treating donor reactions</li>
<li>Educate donors on blood fact information such as donation frequency, need for blood products, etc</li>
<li>All other duties assigned by supervisor</li></ul></div></div>
