Job Title: Experienced Barista / Juicer Location: Black Diamond, WA Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Reports to: Store ManagerCompensation: $18 + tips (Tips typically range between $4 to $6 per hour)About Us: Our Hive Cafe &amp; Juicery is a fast-growing, mission driven juicery passionate about wellness, and bringing real food to real people. We&rsquo;re building more than a store, we&rsquo;re building a community, and we&rsquo;re looking for someone who can elevate our coffee program while growing with us.Your Role: We&rsquo;re seeking an experienced Barista who takes pride in crafting high-quality espresso drinks and delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role is perfect for someone confident behind the bar; dialing in espresso, steaming milk to perfection, and efficiently producing beverages like lattes, cappuccinos, breves, and americanos; while also supporting our juice and smoothie offerings.What You&rsquo;ll Do:<ul><li>Prepare and serve high-quality espresso beverages (lattes, cappuccinos, breves, americanos, etc.) with consistency and attention to detail</li><li>Dial in espresso, adjust grind settings, and maintain coffee equipment for optimal performance</li><li>Steam milk with proper texture and temperature, including basic latte art (preferred)</li><li>Prepare fresh juices, smoothies, and wellness shots</li><li>Deliver exceptional, fast, and friendly customer service</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar, prep areas, and equipment</li><li>Restock ingredients, milks, syrups, and supplies throughout shifts</li><li>Accurately handle transactions using the POS system</li><li>Assist with opening/closing procedures and daily cleaning tasks</li><li>Stay knowledgeable about menu offerings to make recommendations and upsell appropriately</li><li>Uphold Our Hive Cafe &amp; Juicery&rsquo;s standards of quality and health</li></ul>Who You Are:<ul><li>2+ years of barista experience with strong espresso and milk-texturing skills</li><li>Confident working on an espresso machine in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Friendly, professional, and customer-focused with strong communication skills</li><li>Detail-oriented and committed to beverage quality and consistency</li><li>Able to multitask and stay composed during busy rushes</li><li>Comfortable in a startup environment: adaptable, hands-on, and team-oriented</li><li>Interest in health, wellness, and sustainability is a plus</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Previous caf&eacute;/barista experience required</li><li>Food Handler&rsquo;s Permit (or willingness to obtain upon hire)</li><li>Availability Monday&ndash;Sunday, 7am&ndash;6pm (full or partial availability considered)</li><li>Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs</li></ul>What We Offer:<ul><li>Opportunity to be part of a growing, community-focused brand</li><li>Supportive team environment with room for growth</li><li>Hands-on role where your barista skills truly matter</li></ul>Ready to bring your barista craft to a fresh, wellness-focused space?
