If you're passionate about making a real impact, we invite you to join us.Position SummaryPosition: Part-TimeWe are seeking a passionate Product Design Intern to join our early-stage team and contribute to building Outlens, an innovative camera app designed specifically for couples. In this role, you will play a hands-on part in shaping the user experience of our app through real-world testing, user research, UI optimization, branding, and even AI-assisted content creation.This is an exciting opportunity to join a very early-stage startup, where you'll see your work directly impact real users and their photography experiences. It's also a perfect chance to apply and practice what you've learned in class, participate in the full product launch journey&mdash;from ideation to release&mdash;and build valuable projects for your portfolio.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Test the camera app in real-world environments with friends, partners, and family to gather authentic insights.</li><li>Conduct user research and interviews to uncover unmet needs and provide detailed feedback.</li><li>Optimize the UI design for key features, ensuring an intuitive and delightful experience.</li><li>Explore opportunities to design and evolve the branding of the Outlens camera app.</li><li>Leverage AI tools to create engaging videos for product introductions and marketing.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Strong passion for human photography and capturing meaningful moments.</li><li>Socially active and extroverted&mdash;comfortable engaging with people for testing and interviews.</li><li>Detail-oriented, observant, and able to clearly articulate feedback and suggestions.</li><li>No prior professional experience required&mdash;ideal for students or early-career individuals excited about photography and tech.</li><li>Own an iPhone and comfortable installing test builds of the app.</li><li>Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or Canva.</li><li>Knowledge of photography principles and experience using various camera apps (e.g., native camera, Lightroom, VSCO).</li></ul>Compensation$30 per hour. 10&ndash;40 hours per week, flexible based on your scheduleLocationHybrid: San Francisco / RemoteHow to ApplyIf you're interested, please send your resume, portfolio (if available), your social media profiles (Instagram, TikTok, X, etc.), and a brief note explaining why you want to join an extremely early-stage startup like Outlens to recruit@outlens.ai with the subject &quot;Product Design Intern - Camera App&quot;.
