 To be <b>QUALIFIED</b> for this position, we require a <b>high school diploma OR GED, one year of classroom experience with children under 2, and ability to pass all background checks. CDA or AA highly preferred!</b></p><p><b>
Required Shift: </b>Monday - Friday, <b>9:30am - 6:30pm</b></p><p><b>
Compensation: </b><b>$13 - $14.50</b> per hour, based on education and experience</p><div>

</div><div><b>Main </b><b>Job Responsibilities:
</b></div><ul><li>Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.</li><li>
Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently.</li><li>
Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.</li></ul><ul><li>
Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.</li><li>
Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.</li><li>
Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.</li></ul><ul><li>
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.</li><li>
Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.</li></ul><div>
