We are Ogden Weber Community Action Partnership (OWCAP), and we are searching for a highly detailed HR &amp; Volunteer Recruiter to play an integral role in building a highly engaged organization that is passionate about elevating our community.
What you&rsquo;ll need to be our HR &amp; Volunteer Recruiter:

</li><li>Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with relevant experience
</li><li>3-5 years&rsquo; experience in Human Resources, PHR or SHRM certification recognized

What you&rsquo;ll do as the HR &amp; Volunteer Recruiter:

Recruitment and selection
<div><ul><li>Develop and execute recruiting plans. Coordinate and implement recruiting initiatives.
</li></ul><ul><li>Represent OWCAP at job fairs, volunteer fairs, and on various community boards.
</li></ul><ul><li>Network with industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and employees.
</li></ul><ul><li>Develop and track measurable facets of the recruiting and hiring processes that are transparent and measurable. Set continuous improvement goals.
</li></ul><ul><li>Organize and file all job applications as they are received in HR. Ensure application information is entered into a database system.
</li></ul><ul><li>Use the Predictive Index to assess potential candidates for job fit.
</li></ul></div>Interviewing
<div><ul><li>Conduct initial interview using the PI Interview Guide; record and document candidate responses.
</li></ul><ul><li>Prepare and schedule interview appointments for candidates and potential volunteers.
</li></ul><ul><li>Coordinate scheduling with an interview panel. Sit on interview panels as requested.
</li></ul><ul><li>Contact approved applicants with job offers and rejection letters to non-selected candidates.
</li></ul></div>Background and Reference Checks
<div><ul><li>Ensure applicants selected for hire submit approval for a Criminal Records Check (CRC), which includes a Child Abuse and Neglect registry check, and state and national sex offender websites.
</li></ul><ul><li>Enter applicant information into the approved third-party administrator portal to run CRC in order to run fingerprints through the LiveScan System.
</li></ul><ul><li>Obtain professional and personal references for applicants submitted for hire.
</li></ul><ul><li>Submit necessary background information for long-term volunteers who meet the requirements.</li></ul>
</div>
New Hires and Volunteer Onboarding
<div><ul><li>Schedule and conduct new hire or volunteer orientation and onboarding.
</li></ul><ul><li>Send requests to multiple departments for new hire preparations: IT department for Email, network system access, cell phone check out etc., secretarial department for mailbox set up.
</li></ul><ul><li>Report all training provided during orientation and onboarding to HR.
</li></ul><ul><li>Provide information and forms for new-hire Onboarding requirements, which include: Tuberculosis, Hepatitis A and B, physicals, and food handlers.
</li></ul><ul><li>Prepare badges and building access for all newly hired staff</li></ul>

<ul><li>Under the direction of the HR Manager, assist in the development and organization of staff and volunteer orientation and training.
</li><li>Coordinate the pickup and delivery of pantry packs and other community donations as received.
</li><li>Manage and coordinate a portfolio of hands-on volunteer projects&mdash;that can be completed both onsite and offsite&mdash;by partnering with multiple department managers to plan tasks, allocate resources, and deliver seamless volunteer experiences.
</li><li>Create volunteer dashboards and reports to inform the Board of Trustees.</li>
