Domestic and international as required.POSITION SUMMARY:Oxbo is a global leader in niche market design, manufacture and distribution of innovative harvesting equipment and related products for the berry, coffee, field corn, forage, fresh market vegetable, processed vegetable, seed, and vineyard markets.We are in search of a strong leader to manage all aspects of our service center in Shipshewana IN.OVERALL SITE MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Manage site staffing requirements to meet both in and off season demand.</li><li>Develop, maintain, and adhere to a priority system for scheduling all customer and internal service work.</li><li>Customer service quoting and scheduling work in the shop and offsite for technicians.</li><li>Responsible for the financial success of the location.</li><li>Meet/exceed OSHA standards to create a safe and healthful work environment.</li><li>Ensure vehicles are maintained and operated in a safe and courteous manner</li><li>Maintain/exceed good housekeeping standards to ensure good appearance and safe work environment</li><li>Plan and manage the proper level of tooling/supplies to meet the activity of location</li><li>Continually strive for meeting/exceeding customer expectations.</li><li>Manage and control OXBO assets (Facility, Tooling, Equipment, etc.).</li><li>Create/provide input to strategies for parts/service programs and service contracts.</li><li>Develop, manage and monitor capital budgets to actuals and justify capital investment required for the operation.</li><li>Develop and maintain a professional relationship with customers and other industry contacts.</li><li>Drives lean principles (5S) and develops a culture of &ldquo;Continuous Improvement&rdquo;.</li></ul>POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Strong operations experience in a service center or related environment.</li><li>Specialized experience and knowledge of the Agriculture Business, Agronomy, Agriculture Science, Ag Mechanization, or a closely related field of expertise are desirable.</li><li>Disciplined self-starter with excellent communication and listening skills.</li><li>Ability to work with a high degree of independence but also foster teamwork and collaboration.</li><li>Strong leadership experience, skills and presence. Must be able to effectively interact and lead staff and create a collaborative culture.</li><li>Above average problem solving skills, verbal/written skills and presentation skills.</li><li>Competent in Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).</li><li>Willingness/ability to work long hours based on the seasonality of the business.</li><li>Able to work in all types of weather conditions and temperatures and physically able to perform hands-on operation of equipment.</li></ul>EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Agriculture Business, Agronomy, Agriculture Science, Ag Mechanization, or related field.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership position in Agriculture equipment manufacturing/distribution/service industry or equivalent exp.</li><li>Experience with ERP and Service Order systems, or a similar management tool is highly desirable.</li></ul>Oxbo offers competitive wages, paid time off/holidays, full benefit package including medical, dental, vision and life insurance, tuition reimbursement, potential profit sharing, disability insurance, and 401k plan with a generous company match.We are committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants and providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment. Product Support Specialist- Manure and Biosolids Application EquipmentSummary: The Product Support Specialist (PSS) will provide focused support for designated manufactured products. The PSS will have primary responsibility for current product evaluation, service and end user issues/concerns and communicating them to all other functions within the company.Responsibilities:&middot; Troubleshoot and problem solve product issues with /for dealers and company personnel&middot; Develop / Provide technical and product training to Oxbo&rsquo;s internal service staff, Oxbo support channels, dealers, and customers.&middot; Review all field incident reports and coordinate communication between departments and support channels to resolve field service issues&middot; Work cross functionally in the distribution of all service bulletins, technical information, product updates/ programs&middot; Review and make determination for warranty coverage&middot; Participate in product validation and verification processes.&middot; Participate as a member of the 8D Root Cause teams for assigned products.&middot; Channel feedback from customers and field experience to Sales &amp; Marketing staff to assist with product development and model year revisions. Focus areas to include reliability, maintenance and performance parameters.&middot; Assist with product demonstrations of new equipment as needed.&middot; Gain an understanding of the marketplace, provide feedback on competition based on field and customer needs.&middot; Collaborate on parts&rsquo; forecasts based on field use and failure observations.&middot; Assist Publications staff with the review of parts and operators&rsquo; manuals and the online product support library.&middot; Perform other duties as required.The ideal candidate will have:&middot; Associate&rsquo;s degree in agriculture or related Mechanical Engineering Technology and 5+ years&rsquo; experience as a service technician or Service Manager in an agriculture machinery business (or equivalent combination of education and experience)&middot; Experience with mobile agriculture machinery service, mobile electrical controlled hydraulic systems including open and closed loop systems, and mobile DC electrical systems including relay logic and CAN bus type systems.&middot; Experience in diesel engine troubleshooting and maintenance is also desirable.&middot; Strong troubleshooting (analysis/problem-solving) skills&middot; Strong communication (written and verbal) skills and Customer Service orientation&middot; Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics&middot; Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment&middot; Ability to work as a part of a team-with the engineering, purchasing, marketing, manufacturing, sales, and service groups&middot; The ability to travel up to 40% of the time.Oxbo is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and applicants and providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
