Dental Assistant Oxley Comprehensive Dentistry | New Bern, NCOverview: Oxley Comprehensive Dentistry is seeking a Clinical Dental Assistant to join our team! We&rsquo;re looking for a motivated, experienced professional to assist our doctor with restorative procedures, fixed and removable prosthodontics, oral surgery, and implant surgery &mdash; all using the latest techniques and digital technology. Our patient schedule is intentionally structured to allow plenty of time for quality care.We welcome applicants with all levels of experience. What matters most is your dedication to delivering outstanding care and your desire to enjoy the care you provide.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Greet and escort patients with professionalism and warmth</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms for a variety of dental procedures</li><li>Assist the doctor during procedures (restorative, surgical, prosthetic)</li><li>Take impressions, photographs, digital x-rays, and CBCT scans</li><li>Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene</li><li>Maintain central sterilization and ensure operatory cleanliness</li><li>Monitor inventory and stock clinical areas</li><li>Support administrative team as needed to ensure smooth patient flow</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Dental Assistant certificate from an accredited program</li><li>X-ray certification (required)</li><li>Current CPR certification</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental terminology and sterilization techniques</li><li>Excellent communication and organizational skills</li><li>Coronal polishing certificate (preferred)</li><li>Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to ongoing learning</li></ul>Why Join Us?
