We&rsquo;re hiring a Human Resources Manager to support our growing operations. This role is ideal for a bilingual professional fluent in English and Spanish, with a strong background in HR strategy and compliance. You&rsquo;ll oversee recruitment, employee relations, training, and safety initiatives while ensuring alignment with labor laws and company values. As part of your responsibilities, you&rsquo;ll conduct monthly site visits to foster direct engagement with field teams, and reinforce a culture of accountability and respect. Under general supervision, this position works closely with the Sr Controller to handle all Human Resources tasks for both P&amp;K Stone and Dawson Landholdings.</p>

</b><div><ul><li>Works with Managers and Supervisors in the field to fulfill all hiring needs</li></ul>
<ul><li>Gets the necessary approvals to start the hiring process</li></ul>
<ul><li>Posts positions in different media as requested and sets up interviews</li></ul>
</div></li></ul><ul><li><b>Pre-Employment
</b><div><ul><li>Coordinates with candidates to complete the pre-employment process (background check, drug testing, MVR report, Conditional Offer Letter)</li></ul>
<ul><li>Reviews all results and makes sure candidates are in compliance to be hired</li></ul>
<ul><li>For drivers, coordinates with insurance company to add to insurance</li></ul>
</div></li></ul><ul><li><b>On Boarding</b>
<div><ul><li>Ensure candidates complete new hire paperwork via UKG Onboarding including E-verify</li></ul>
<ul><li>Reviews benefit information with New Hires</li></ul>
<ul><li>Coordinates with the appropriate departments to properly request company property for new hires if applicable</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensures all appropriate forms and ID&rsquo;s are submitted</li></ul>
<ul><li>On Boards 1099 Subcontractors</li></ul>
</div></li></ul><ul><li><b>Tracks all company property assigned to employees.</b>
<div><ul><li>Requests inventory paperwork</li></ul>
<ul><li>Gets the necessary approvals</li></ul>
<ul><li>Requests company property with the appropriate departments</li></ul>
<ul><li>Tracks company property to ensure employee receives it</li></ul>
<ul><li>Enters company property in UKG</li></ul>

</b><div><ul><li>Review/Approve all data changes in UKG such as Direct Deposits, W4 Forms, Addresses</li></ul>
</div></li></ul><ul><li><b>Salary Changes
</b><div><ul><li>Processes salary changes in UKG</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensures the proper forms and approval are received for the different types of salary changes</li></ul>
<ul><li>Keeps track of 90-day increases.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Keeps track of referral bonuses and pay out dates</li></ul>
</div></li></ul><ul><li><b>Employee/SUB Files</b>
<div><ul><li>Maintains personnel files, ensuring laws and regulations are followed and the files are up to date</li></ul>
<ul><li>Responsible for creating electronic files and ensuring all information has been properly scanned (legible, clear, straight full pages) before shredding any paper documents</li></ul>
</div></li></ul><ul><li><b>Audits &ndash; </b>Assists the Controller with the following audits:
<div><ul><li>Company property audit</li></ul>
<ul><li>Insurance Audit</li></ul>
</div></li></ul><ul><li><b>Benefits Administration
</b><div><ul><li>Assists with Open Enrollment processes, including meetings, enrollments, discrepancies, translations, distributing communications</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists employees with every day benefit questions</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists New Hires with enrollments</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure that All new hired employees enroll <b>or</b> decline in benefits through PlanSource</li></ul>
<ul><li>Handles Benefits Employee&rsquo;s inquiries with Insurance Broker throughout the year</li></ul>
<ul><li>Handles Live Status Events and coordinates with payroll for deduction adjustments</li></ul>
<ul><li>Submits New Hire and Termination Reports weekly to Insurance Broker</li></ul>
<ul><li>Assists with Benefits invoice reconciliation</li></ul>

<div><ul><li>Ensure timely payout per applicable laws</li></ul>
<ul><li>Manually terminate in carrier websites, if needed</li></ul>
<ul><li>Track additional deductions needed</li></ul>

<div><ul><li>Ensures all time sheet exceptions are addressed.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Works with supervisors for timesheet approval.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Process PTO requests and include in payroll</li></ul>
<ul><li>Keep accurate record of employee attendance in time keeping system.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Submit payroll for processing</li></ul>

<div><ul><li>ACA Reporting</li></ul>
<ul><li>EEO Reporting</li></ul>
<ul><li>W2/1099 review and reporting</li></ul>
<ul><li>Other agency reporting as requested.</li></ul>
</div></li></ul><ul><li>Acts as an interpreter for Supervisors and employees, as needed.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Builds and maintains relationships with key departments and Company affiliates to ensure cooperation and teamwork.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Provides excellent customer service, for both internal and external customers.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Actively demonstrates teamwork, at all times.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Always adheres to company safety standards, such that no serious (requiring medical attention) injury occurred during the prior 12-month period.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Follows other policies and procedures such that there are no verbal or written warnings during the evaluation period.</li></ul></div><br>

<ul><li>Minimum of five years&rsquo; experience as a human resources generalist, if no degree.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Skilled in use of computer and software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Experience with UKG, UltiPro, or Kronos software.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Fluently speak, read, and write English.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Fluently speak, read, and write Spanish.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Must be a team player.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Demonstrates solid communication, customer service skills, and verbal/written skills with all levels of company personnel and outside vendors/suppliers.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to present in a large meeting or training environment.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Demonstrates high level of organization and attention to detail.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ability to multitask.</li></ul>
