Pac-Rim Building Supply, Inc. is a fast-paced, growing provider of residential and commercial building materials to contractors in Alaska, Hawaii, and Japan. Additionally, we operate a transload facility where we load/unload import and export materials through the Ports of Seattle and Tacoma. We are excited to be adding a new Warehouse/Forklift Associate to our team!Here are some of the details:<ul><li>Fulltime position in located in Renton, WA</li><li>Primarily Monday through Friday from 7:00a to 3:30p (OT may be required at times)</li><li>100% employee paid medical and dental benefits with an H.S.A. including an employer match</li><li>401k plan with employer matching</li><li>Profit sharing plan</li><li>On the job training and certification</li><li>Opportunity to learn and grow within the company</li></ul>What would you do?<ul><li>Load and unload shipments, stage and store materials using forklifts, hand trucks and by hand as needed inside and outside.</li><li>Use handheld power tools to build shipping crates including panel &amp; chop saws, air compressors and screw guns.</li><li>Shipping and Receive customer materials</li><li>Loading out containers and flats</li><li>Input receiving into computer database</li><li>Send and receive emails to vendors as needed to resolve or expedite materials</li><li>Interface with customers, sales team, and vendors, including truck drivers in a friendly and helpful manner.</li></ul>What you need to be successful?<ul><li>5+ years of warehouse experience preferred.</li><li>4+ Previous forklift experience is required (we provide certification if needed).</li><li>Better than average computer skills, Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.</li><li>Able to navigate through third party shipping software.</li><li>Able to calculate weight's and dimensions for load planning.</li><li>Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.</li><li>Pass a drug test and criminal background check.</li><li>Be consistently on time, daily.</li><li>Be a team player.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
