This position is primarily responsible for the transformation of data to be used for the safe transport of materials and goods both domestically and internationally.
Compensation: $25.00 - 27.00 per hour
What you&rsquo;ll do<ul><li>
Authors Safety Data Sheets in compliance with domestic and global regulations.</li><li>
Completes and processes various types of standard regulatory forms, documents, databases, and related materials and information.</li><li>
Provides data management and analysis of raw materials.</li><li>
Completes general hazard communication and reviews regulatory information for accuracy.</li><li>
Works in computer applications and systems related to the work:<ul><li>

Contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of the department's service to its customers by offering suggestions and directing or participating as an active member of a work team.</li><li>

What you&rsquo;ll bring<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree, preferably in a technical field such as chemistry, biology or related discipline.</li><li>
3+ years of chemical regulatory experience, required</li><li>
3+ years of SDS authoring experience, required</li><li>
Strong understanding of GHS and chemical regulatory compliance, required</li><li>
Good written and oral communication skills.</li><li>
Good database management skills, including attention to detail.</li><li>
Computer applications and systems related to the work.</li><li>
Principles and practices for serving as an effective project team member</li></ul>

Administrative Assistant 
 
Compensation: $15.00 per hour 
 
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
SUMMARY: 
Responsible for provision of varied administrative support duties to a unit/department; provides support to management and staff with administrative and operational support tasks.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>
Performs administrative support which requires the exercise of independent judgment, the application of technical skills, and knowledge of detailed or specialized activities related to the assigned department.</li><li>
Manages databases and/or spreadsheet files and develops special report formats.</li><li>
Researches and assembles information from a variety of sources for completion of forms or preparation of reports; performs arithmetic or statistical calculations.</li><li>
Conducts specific projects; may obtain information from other organizations, summarize findings, and prepare recommendations.</li><li>
Provides information requiring interpretation of policies, rules, and procedures.</li><li>
Arranges meetings, including notifying attendees, reserving rooms, and coordinating lodging and/or meals.</li><li>
Organizes, maintains, and purges departmental files.</li><li>
Prepares correspondence, reports, forms, contracts, and specialized documents.</li><li>
Proofreads materials for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with policies.</li><li>
Enters and retrieves data; prepares and reviews reports for accuracy.</li><li>
Performs administrative details such as entering employee time, preparing requisitions, coordinating equipment repairs, and maintaining reference materials.</li><li>
Acts as receptionist; screens visitors and calls, directing or handling inquiries as appropriate.</li><li>
Contributes to departmental effectiveness by offering suggestions and participating in team activities.</li><li>
Promotes Pace Analytical&rsquo;s mission through courteous, cooperative interactions and fostering a positive work environment.</li></ul>
QUALIFICATIONS: 
Education and Experience: 
High School Diploma/GED and two (2) years of administrative support experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
