Responsibilities</b></div>
</div><div><ul><li>Investigate damage to company property claims.</li>
<li>Handle collection of damage to property claims.</li>
<li>Investigate outage claims or disruption of power claims made against the company.</li>
<li>Assess damage claims brought forth by claimants.</li>
<li>Deny claims based on applicable tariffs or resolve property damage claims.</li>
<li>Assess liability claims brought against the company.</li>
<li>Evaluate damage to company property and gather information for billing.</li>

</div><div><ul><li>Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.</li>
<li>A minimum of three years&rsquo; experience of claims research, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li>Investigative skills including conducting fact-finding, evaluation, and determination of cause of claim.</li>
<li>Communication and interpersonal skills to present recommended solutions and negotiate settlements.</li>
<li>Ability to collect and analyze information related to accidents and make sound recommendations for their settlement.</li>
<li>Completion of computer literacy test, basic literacy test, and an excel and word basic test with a score of 80% or better.</li>
<li>Pass a typing test with 30 words per minute or better.</li>
<li>Strong decision-making skills as well as the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.</li>
<li>Pass AIC 300 within 6 months of being hired.</li>
<li>Travel may be required.</li>

Provide advice, counsel and leadership to the net power cost group and makes and presents recommendations to management and client organizations regarding net power cost filings and cost modeling. Gather, analyze and interpret data for trends, forecasts and modeling. Develops and implements new strategies, programs, and/or processes in response to changing internal and external conditions.</div><br>

Responsibilities</b></div>
</div><div><ul><li>Develop regulatory filings, including testimony, exhibits and supporting documentation.</li>
<li>Prepare and defend net power cost regulatory filings, including general rate cases, transition adjustment mechanisms, power cost adjustment mechanisms, and avoided cost filings,</li>
<li>Prepare and analyze production cost model simulations utilizing the company&rsquo;s GRID model.</li>
<li>Responsible for Aurora model maintenance, including maintaining current resource attributes and updating data series inputs.</li>
<li>Analyze the impact of changes to modeling inputs and support changes to department management.</li>
<li>Coordinate with other company departments to ensure consistent practices for production cost modeling.</li>
<li>Research relevant data, evaluate complex situations, develop creative alternatives, provide recommendations to management, and negotiate and influence outcomes.</li>
<li>Assist in representing and supporting the company&rsquo;s net power cost initiatives to regulators and/or their staffs, key community and customer groups, and other company departments.</li>
<li>Interface and work with state regulatory commissions regarding appropriate application of company and commission administrative rules.</li>
<li>Prepare final responses to discovery requests.</li>
<li>Interpret rules and regulations to internal and external parties.</li>
<li>Identify prospective and pending policy issues affecting the company&rsquo;s business units.</li>
<li>Provide regular reports on pending and anticipated activities to supervisors.</li>

</div><div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>
<li>A minimum of seven years of experience in revenue requirement preparation, net power cost simulation modeling, cost of service analysis, pricing analysis or related analytical experience.</li>
<li>Requires a complete understanding of the company&rsquo;s resource system including transmission systems and constraints, thermal resources, reserve requirements, resource availability determination, resource commitment logic and dispatch, fuel costs, portfolio of complex wholesale sales and purchase contracts, risk management and mitigation.</li>
<li>Ability to independently perform analysis and prepare regulatory filings.</li>
<li>Strong leadership skills and the ability to work with all levels of an organization including people with different styles and backgrounds; ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.</li>
<li>Project management skills including project leadership, task identification, and scheduling.</li>
<li>Communication and interpersonal skills involving the ability to establish trust, maintain confidence, and understand social behavior and interactions.</li>
<li>Ability to listen and communicate effectively through oral and written means.</li>
<li>Proficient with the use of personal computers to gather, analyze, and summarize data.</li>
