Procurement Coordinator
 
We are seeking a qualified, motivated individual to join Pacific Mobile Structures as a Procurement Coordinator. As part of our team, you will provide support through purchasing for the entire organization, coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery. You will liaise with vendors, establishing strong working relationships and compare materials and service pricing to pursue the most profitable course in line with business objectives and sourcing best practices. Our ideal candidate is an expert with organization and possesses excellent problem-solving and communication skills. A great attitude is a must for this position.

Pay range: $50,000 - $60,000 DOE
 
Job Duties: 
<ul>
<li>Oversee procurement purchase order and requisition processing, ensuring materials and / or services have been ordered and received accurately and timely according to purchase descriptions while communicating any discrepancies to appropriate departments.</li>
<li>Build relationships with existing vendors to identify supply chain opportunities, challenges and ensure vendors can meet delivery and quality obligations.</li>
<li>Negotiate prices with vendors to ensure that costs are kept within budget and fall within the competitive range.</li>
<li>Source and evaluate new vendors to provide material and / or services for existing or emerging needs ensuring they can uphold PMSI values and standards.</li>
<li>Communicate and develop relationships with buyers to create requisitions and purchase orders that cover the scope of work discussed.</li>
<li>Track and manage data for competitive bids, price comparisons, standardization considerations, and inventory audits.</li>
<li>Assist the Supply Chain Department in creating, updating and maintaining procurement processes, while identifying processes that could be improved.</li>
<li>Oversee and manage buying portals including but not limited to additions, removals, updates, transitions and regular maintenance.</li>
<li>Coordinate with PMSI departments such as operations, accounting and sales to ensure that all necessary information is available, accurate and communicated for incoming procurement activities</li>
</ul>
Preferred Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>1-5 years or equivalent experience in procurement, sourcing, project management, or a relevant logistics/supply chain role</li>
<li>Strong Microsoft knowledge and experience</li>
<li>An analytical, problem-solving personality with the ability to negotiate and build relationships with internal customers and vendors</li>
<li>Experience with data entry, database management, and reporting and compliance</li>
<li>Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations a plus</li>

Pacific Mobile is actively seeking skilled individuals for a variety of positions, ranging from construction laborers to carpenter tenders. We have opportunities for both entry-level and experienced workers. As part of our team, you will contribute to projects ranging from the basic installation of relocatable classrooms or job shacks to complete turnkey projects that include all site improvements and utility work. Our customers include a variety of sectors, such as office buildings, medical clinics, government services, and workforce housing. You must have physical strength, endurance, and the ability to work well with your hands. Strong collaboration skills, the ability to following instructions, and adherence to safety rules are also essential.
 
Hourly based pay of $22 to $29.50 an hour DOE. Some of the work we take on is subject to prevailing wage, meaning you will receive the prevailing wage rate. Approximately 30% to 50% of the work will be subject to prevailing wage.
 Hours: Typical hours are Monday through Friday. Floating start/stop times to meet customer schedule.
 Travel: Some out of area work locations requiring overnight stays. Saturday/overtime work may be required at times.

In this role you will: 
<ul>
<li>Install mobile/modular buildings, block and level, concrete blocking, and pony wall foundations.</li>
<li>Assemble decks, porches, ramps and steps, trusses, sheathing, roofing, and gables as needed.</li>
<li>Mobile office skirting and framing.</li>
<li>Ensure maintenance of company vehicle is current through company providers.</li>
<li>Follow safety measures for setting and working with mobile/modular buildings.</li>
<li>Complete time sheets daily and accurately.</li>
<li>Load and unload truck with job materials.</li>
<li>Complete OSHA 10 Course within 90 Days.</li>
<li>Complete and pass customer required training courses as needed.</li>
<li>Receive additional field-based training.</li>
<li>Keep job site clean and organized.</li>
</ul>
Experience and Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>Carpentry and construction experience preferred</li>
<li>General knowledge of power tools and techniques for care</li>
<li>Strong customer service skills</li>
<li>OSHA 10 & 30 Certifications a plus</li>
<li>Forklift Certifications a plus</li>
<li>Ability to work with a team and be a self-starter</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required</li>
<li>Set-up and knockdown experience preferred</li>
