We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team!The ideal candidate will have solid unit turn experience and a strong foundation in all aspects of general apartment maintenance. This role plays a key part in maintaining the physical condition of the property, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Complete all assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner</li><li>Assist with move-in/move-out processes; prepare and repair units for new residents</li><li>Light plumbing: repair and installation of faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, etc.</li><li>Light electrical: troubleshooting and basic repairs</li><li>Light HVAC troubleshooting and thermostat installation</li><li>Install and repair door locks, deadbolts, and hardware</li><li>Perform door removal and reinstallation</li><li>Repair appliances and perform basic maintenance</li><li>Re-screen or replace window screens</li><li>Paint units and perform wall texturing, drywall repairs, and wallpapering</li><li>Install dishwashers</li><li>Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in maintenance areas and workspaces</li><li>Ensure the property maintains high aesthetic appeal and safety standards</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Degree or certificate from a two-year technical school program preferred</li><li>Proven success in a similar maintenance or facilities role</li><li>General knowledge of apartment maintenance procedures and standards</li><li>Strong communication skills (verbal and written)</li><li>Basic math skills and the ability to use standard tools and equipment</li><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License required</li><li>First Aid Certification may be required</li></ul>Wage:<ul><li>Based on skill and experience level</li></ul>Work Schedule:<ul><li>Monday- Friday</li><li>8:30 am- 5:00 pm</li><li>On-call/ Must be available for after hours and emergencies</li></ul>EEOC Statement:The above statements are intended to be a general description.
