Responsibilities include various administrative tasks associated with purchasing, expediting, quoting and maintaining delivery reports for multiple locations in a fast-paced environment.​​Responsibilities1. Generate and email purchase orders or transfers to suppliers and receiving locations2. Expedite/follow up with vendors on late shipments3. Obtain Quotes4. Work with Receiving and Accounts Payable to resolve delivery &amp; invoicing issues including the timely return of goods to suppliers5. Cross-train and backup up Purchasing staff6. Maintain accuracy of purchasing data for assigned suppliers (pricing, descriptions, new item codes, etc)7. Provide necessary support to Purchasing Department as needed and assigned8. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions change​​Qualifications<ul><li>Excellent computer skills (MS Office Products &ndash; primarily Outlook, Word, Excel. Google Drive, Gmail)</li><li>Clerical accuracy and attention to detail</li><li>Clear written communication skills</li><li>Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple tasks</li><li>Knowledge of packaging industry is helpful</li><li>Prior purchasing experience ​helpful​</li></ul>Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
