The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the architecture, optimization, and support of enterprise financial and operational systems, with a primary focus on ERP, reporting infrastructure, and systems integration. This role serves as the bridge between Accounting, Operations, and Technology ensuring accurate data flow, scalable reporting, and continuous improvement of financial systems that support construction operations. 
Location &amp; Travel: This is an on-site position in our Fargo, ND office.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
<ul><li>Serve as ERP system owner and subject matter expert.
</li><li>Manage system configuration, enhancements, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.</li><li>
Partner with accounting and operations leadership to improve system performance and reporting capabilities.</li><li>
Support AP, AR, payroll, job costing, financial statements, and project accounting workflows.</li></ul><ul><li>
Design, develop, and maintain reports</li><li>
Build scalable reporting solutions that improve financial visibility and operational decision-making.</li><li>
Ensure data integrity and accuracy across systems.</li></ul><ul><li>
Lead integrations between ERP and other internal systems (HRIS, project management, field systems, etc.).</li><li>
Support automation opportunities and eliminate manual processes.</li><li>
Support BI initiatives and data quality improvements.</li><li>
Document system processes and technical solutions.</li></ul><ul><li>
Deliver ERP training to accounting and operations teams.</li><li>
Act as a liaison between technical vendors and internal stakeholders.</li></ul> 
Education and Work Experience
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.</li><li>
10+ years of experience supporting ERP systems in construction or project-based industries.</li><li>
Strong understanding of construction accounting principles and job costing.</li><li>
Proven ability to bridge accounting operations and technical system capabilities.</li><li>
Experience with BI tools and systems integrations preferred.</li></ul>

Senior Systems Engineer

<div>Position Scope
The Project Manager is responsible for the project set-up, implementation, and management of nation-wide medium and high voltage electrical construction projects in the Renewable and Utility industries throughout the estimating, contract negotiation, preconstruction, and construction execution project phases. 
Location &amp; Travel: This is a Remote position with travel requirements up to 25% as needed.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities<ul><li>
Review initial project opportunity requests for proposals (RFPs) and coordinate with Estimators in the preparation of bid proposals to clients</li><li>
Solicit quotes and proposals from subcontractors and vendors, and review quotes and proposals for compliance with project requirements</li><li>
Draft and review contract documents, negotiate contract Exhibits and Terms &amp; Conditions</li><li>
Responsible for management of all contractual requirements for projects</li><li>
Review and resolve any contract disputes, draft and manage Change Orders when applicable</li><li>
Review engineering deliverables and specifications for adherence to project requirements</li><li>
Manage project submittals and requests for information (RFIs)</li><li>
Coordinate with project operations team to plan and execute projects on schedule and on budget</li><li>
Draft and review subcontracts, purchase orders, and work orders</li><li>
Lead meetings with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and other project stakeholders</li><li>
Responsible for tracking and reporting on project quality, project safety, project progress, and project cost</li><li>
Responsible for project financial forecasting, tracking, and reporting</li><li>
Coordinate with Field Operations personnel to monitor project progress and confirm that work is in conformance to contract requirements</li><li>
Perform quantity takeoffs and various other estimating tasks as assigned</li></ul>
Education and Work Experience<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or Associate&rsquo;s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant discipline preferred</li><li>
Knowledge and experience with medium and/or high voltage substations, collection systems and/or transmission lines preferred</li><li>
5+ Years of relevant experience in Construction Management and/or Project Management roles</li></ul> 
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:<ul><li>
Must be hard-working, passionate, inquisitive, and have the willingness to perform any task that is required (even if not listed above)</li><li>
Ability to travel up to 25% for site visits, project meetings, and/or contract negotiations</li><li>
Written and verbal communication skills</li><li>
Attention to detail with organizational and critical data analysis skills</li><li>
Experience with Microsoft 365 Suite, Project Management Software (Procore, HCSS, etc), and/or Project Scheduling Software (MS Project, Primavera, etc)</li><li>
Demonstrate knowledge of Construction Project Management skills and concepts including estimating, contract negotiation, engineering management, workforce management, equipment management, subcontractor/vendor management, project accounting, and/or project scheduling</li></ul>
