Position Summary</b><br>
PACO Group is seeking two Senior Financial Data Analysts (SFDS) to support the PANYNJ-Engineering Financial Services Budget team. The SFDS will review and analyze monthly the department&rsquo;s financial performance; help prepare the annual budget for the Capital, Operating and overhead funded programs; prepare and coordinate monthly the department&rsquo;s consultant accruals by verifying supporting documentation related to the Purchase Order; analyze month end postings for accuracy and financial variances; prepare and submit charge code reclassifications; research and prepare ad hoc project data reports; validate adherence to charge code guidelines for all construction and consultant expenditures; prepare and track the department&rsquo;s deferred projects and corresponding amortization schedules.</p><div><b>
Minimum Requirements</b><br>
To be considered for this position, the candidates must demonstrate the minimum required education, technical qualifications, and experience outlined below:<br>
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field</li><li>5+ years of experience in complex financial analysis and reporting, budget forecasting and data analysis</li><li>within a large organization</li><li>Proficiency in PC applications (Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to SharePoint, Lists,</li><li>etc.)</li><li>Intermediate to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros/VBA, etc.)</li><li>Demonstrated experience using SAP financial modules, Peoplesoft, Oracle Essbase and Hyperion with</li><li>SmartView software applications</li><li>Ability to reconcile financial data</li><li>Ability to work with large datasets</li><li>Knowledge of GASB accounting principles</li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills</li><li>Demonstrated experience working independently</li><li>High attention to detail with the ability to identify errors and inconsistencies</li><li>Must be a team player</li></ul></div><p><b>
Compensation</b><br>
The good-faith hourly pay range for this position is <b>$80-$95</b> per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and client requirements.</p><p><b>
