We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our project managers and employees. Administrative Assistant responsibilities include making appointments for city inspections, scheduling testing, contacting customers, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. If you have previous experience as a Secretary or Executive administrative assistant and familiarity within our industry, we&rsquo;d like to meet you. These are not requirements, just pluses. We are also willing to train and teach for this position if you are someone that can do so.Responsibilities<ul><li>Answer inbound phone calls, taking messages categorize and assign issues accordingly.</li><li>Complete data entry tasks for various department updating and maintaining databases.</li><li>Provide customer service to customers when answering questions regarding process,, procedures, and general information</li><li>Prepare written correspondence as needed</li><li>Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms</li><li>Update and maintain spreadsheets</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant</li><li>Knowledge of office management systems and procedures</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)</li><li>Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work</li><li>Attention to detail and problem solving skills</li><li>Excellent written, verbal, and customer service communication skills</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task</li><li>High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus, ability to learn and be trained also a plus.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
