Front Desk ReceptionistThis is a part-time position working in our Medford office. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and works well in a very busy environment.Job Duties include:-Accurate completion of all required forms, greeting patients, verifying demographics and insurance information and coordinating physician releases.-Collect co-payments and/or outstanding balances. Inform patients of financial assistance opportunities.-Take detailed messages and send to correct person.-Proactively serve as a patient advocate by utilizing courteous and professional telephone etiquette at all times by answering the telephone promptly, reflecting a positive tone and speaking distinctly with poise, tact and assurance.-Scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.-Notify referring provider if patient reschedules, cancels or is a no-show-Other jobs as assigned by the Practice Manager.Skills and Qualifications:Demonstrates a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times.Experience with busy multi-line phones.Adheres to and exhibits our core values.Maintains confidentiality and protects sensitive data at all times.Adheres to organizational and department specific safety standards and guidelines.Works collaboratively and supports efforts of team members.Education:High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.Required experience:Medical Clinic or Hospital setting: 1 yearPlease email your resume if you are interested and meet the requirements.
