<div>The Sales Engineer supports sales across both new prospects and existing customers, driving cross-sell, upsell, and renewal opportunities. Success in this role is measured by new customer acquisition, average opportunity value, renewal price increases, upselling and cross-selling results, and overall contribution to the sales team and wider business. 
 
Location 
Bunschoten - Spakenburg, Netherlands 
This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence 2&ndash;3 days per week. 
 
Expected base salary range 
Depending on location and experience of candidate: upto EUR 75,000/year base pay + 20% variable.
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Support sales teams with solution selling into the prospect account base.</li><li>
Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare, and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles.</li><li>
Lead technical discovery and requirements gathering, documenting current- and future-state workflows, solution maps, technical fit, risks, assumptions, and customer success criteria.</li><li>
Contribute to sales strategy and support MEDPICC qualification and documentation.</li><li>
Build the financial business case for each opportunity, using data and subject-matter expertise to quantify customer value.</li><li>
Match customer pain points and requirements to the proposed solution.</li><li>
Create and deliver compelling presentations and solution demonstrations that clearly communicate the value proposition.</li><li>
Manage all technical aspects of RFP and RFI responses.</li><li>
Relay client needs and market intelligence to the product and product marketing teams to inform the product roadmap.</li><li>
Coordinate with professional services and internal subject-matter experts to finalize technical scoping for implementation.</li><li>
Transition closed-won opportunities to delivery and customer success, including handoff documentation, implementation assumptions, scope, risks, and promised outcomes.</li><li>
Help drive continuous improvement through internal projects.</li><li>
Contribute to marketing and thought-leadership content such as webinars and blog posts.</li><li>
Gather competitive intelligence and position PairSoft effectively against competitors during sales cycles.</li></ul>
Additional Responsibilities<ul><li>
Lead or participate in projects as assigned.</li><li>
Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, webinars, conferences, and other events.</li></ul>
Requirements
Experience &amp; Education<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or higher.</li><li>
5+ years of SaaS sales engineering experience.</li><li>
Proven track record in software sales and strong technology knowledge.</li><li>
Prior experience with PairSoft products is preferred.</li></ul>

Manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.</li><li>
Work effectively in a high-energy team, receive feedback, and adjust tactics as needed.</li><li>
Act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships grounded in customer needs and value creation.</li><li>
Demonstrate customer acumen &mdash; understanding each customer&rsquo;s business challenges, technology footprint, growth plans, and competitive landscape.</li><li>
Apply MEDPICC and consultative sales approaches.</li><li>
Operate as a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a high aptitude for learning.</li></ul>
Technical Knowledge<ul><li>
Configure, maintain, and tailor demo environments, including POCs, pilots, workshops, solution validation, and technical win criteria.</li><li>
Support technical due diligence across integrations, APIs, SSO, security questionnaires, data flows, ERP connectivity, document capture/OCR, AI, approval automation, and reporting/analytics, as well as implementation feasibility.</li><li>
Maintain a foundational understanding of business processes across procurement, finance, accounts payable, payments, accounts receivable, and working capital.</li></ul>
Other<ul><li>
Willingness to travel occasionally in support of sales pursuits and marketing events.</li></ul>
Work &amp; Physical Requirements
This position may be performed from home and/or an office environment. Office work may require prolonged sitting in an air-conditioned environment, the ability to work alongside others at varying noise levels, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds (15 kg).
