</b></p><p>The Social Mobilizer will play a key role in community engagement, mobilization, and awareness under the Integrated Resilience Project in Lasbela. This includes supporting implementation of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and Livelihoods activities in 30 target villages.</p>
<p>
Social Mobilizers will ensure active participation of communities, strengthen local committees (VDCs, CERTs, O&amp;M groups), and facilitate behavioral change through awareness sessions and mobilization campaigns.</p>
<p><b>
Job Responsibilities:</b></p>
<p><b>
Community Mobilization and Participation
</b></p><ul><li>Mobilize target communities for all DRR, WASH, and Livelihood interventions.</li>
<li>Support the formation and strengthening of Village Development Committees (VDCs),</li>
<li>Community Emergency Response Teams (CERTs), and O&amp;M Committees.</li>
<li>Facilitate community-based planning sessions, vulnerability assessments, and awareness activities.</li>
<li>Ensure inclusive participation of women, youth, and people with disabilities.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Awareness and Capacity Building
</b></p><ul><li>Conduct regular community awareness sessions on disaster preparedness, hygiene promotion, safe water practices, sanitation, and livelihood resilience.</li>
<li>Organize and facilitate training sessions, FGDs, and community dialogues.</li>
<li>Disseminate IEC materials on DRR, WASH, and health messages.</li>
<li>Support behavioral change efforts focusing on open defecation, waste management, and water safety.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Livelihood and Agriculture Support
</b></p><ul><li>Assist in beneficiary identification for livelihood and agriculture interventions.</li>
<li>Facilitate farmer group meetings, vocational training mobilization, and cash grant disbursements.</li>
<li>Collect field data on livelihood activities and ensure gender balance in participation.</li>
<li>Support follow-up with beneficiaries on utilization of livelihood assets.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Monitoring, Documentation, and Reporting
</b></p><ul><li>Maintain attendance, beneficiary lists, and activity records for all community sessions.</li>
<li>Support baseline, monitoring, and evaluation exercises in coordination with the M&amp;E team.</li>
<li>Submit weekly progress updates, success stories, and community feedback reports to the Project Officer.</li>
<li>Support complaint and feedback mechanisms at village level.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Coordination and Field Support
</b></p><ul><li>Liaise with community leaders, local government representatives, and other NGOs working in the area.</li>
<li>Provide support to the Field Engineer during infrastructure-related site selection and community consultations.</li>
<li>Facilitate smooth communication between field teams and community structures.</li>
<li>Ensure timely information flow between project staff and community members.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Job Specifications:
</b></p><p><b>Education:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in social sciences, Social Work, Sociology, Community Development, Rural Development or a related field.</li>
<li>Relevant certification in community mobilization will be an asset.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Work Experience:
</b></p><ul><li>Minimum 2&ndash;3 years of relevant experience in community mobilization or development work, preferably in DRR, WASH, or livelihood projects.</li>
<li>Experience working with NGOs or donor-funded projects in rural areas (Balochistan experience preferred).</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Skills and Competencies:
</b></p><ul><li>Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills with community groups.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills in Urdu and local languages (Balochi and Sindhi preferred).</li>

<p>
The Field Engineer will be responsible for the technical planning, implementation, and monitoring of all infrastructure activities under the Integrated Project on WASH, DRR &amp; Livelihood in Tehsil Kunri, District Umerkot funded by Humedica/BMZ.</p>
<p>
This includes designing and supervising construction and rehabilitation works related to WASH facilities (water supply, sanitation, hand pumps, and community structures), DRR infrastructure (flood protection, small-scale mitigation works), and livelihood infrastructure (irrigation channels, storage units, etc.).</p>
<p>
The Field Engineer will ensure quality control, adherence to technical specifications, compliance with donor and PMS standards, and close coordination with communities, contractors, and field teams.</p><p><br>

The Admin and Finance Officer will support the project by ensuring efficient administrative operations and financial management. The role involves handling day-to-day administrative tasks, managing project finances, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and financial standards. The Admin and Finance Officer will collaborate with project teams, manage resources effectively, and support the smooth implementation of project activities.</p>
